I had a new ac put in by Snappy. They are my normal service company and I have a contract with them. They have always been reasonable and courteous to me. What I really liked recently though was that... after my system got put in, they came back to do a quality check and adjusted things. The advisor John, came out again to make sure I was happy and sent me a nice thank you note. Its special to be appreciated for doing business with someone.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
My ac unit broke down last Fri night, I called several companies and only Snappy could come out that night. The tech John was very friendly and found our problem quickly. He gave us several options... for repairs. He fixed the unit and got us back cooling that night. We signed up for their protection plan that included lifetime parts and labor on the work they did. Snappy saved what would have been a long hot night.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

Our furnace quit working a couple of weeks ago so we called another repair company referred by a co-worker. They were very pushy in stating replacing the unit was only options so we decided to get another opinion. I called Snappy which was highly recommended by someone in the neighborhood and was very delighted with their service! The serviceman John took his time looking over the system and provided me with 4 separate options ranging from repair to a couple different replacement options. One option included a home energy assessment which I chose to go with before doing anything with furnace.(ga weather allowed me time for due diligence :))The energy assessment blew me away and these guys are not only super professional they are really good. The audit produces a very thorough report with pictures and projected savings again with several options, but not pushy on anything. I felt really comfortable with these guys and because of rebates through GA Power decided to get a new heating system and insulation in my attic. These guys were great and I would recommend their services to everyone!!!
Thank you very much for the review as well as the business. We are glad to see you like the energy audit and even more excited you that you gave us the opportunity to reduce your energy bills with air sealing and insulation. We look forward to seeing you in the fall fro you heating pm, and then again next spring for your ac tune-up. At that time we would love to hear about your energy savings over the 12 month period! Thanks again-Management
Right up front, I did NOT have them do any work for me and they may be very good. The quality rating here was required and they might be 5 stars - I just don't know. What I do know is that I had them quote me for several items on a punch-list that I needed to have done. They are about double what is usually quoted for the things I wanted done. Example 1: Labor only to install a new toilet - Avg cost $110 - $140. Their quote $369. Example 2: Labor only to install a Tub Faucet - Avg cost $138 - $176. Their quote $350. These prices were on top of a $49 "service call" fee just to come out. Everything was at least double with Snappy. I ended up going elsewhere for less than half the price and quality work.
DavidLori- We appreciate you taking the time to allow us to price your project. We are glad to see you had the worked performed and saved some money. It is hard to compare your listed prices to ours as the list price for the toilet install included a new emergency shut-off valve and stainless steel supply line along with the wax ring and labor to install your toilet. As we discussed after the technician left to perform a toilet only install, we are closer to $250. By the prices you have listed above it looks more like you may have had a handyman contractor install vs. a licensed plumber. I would have doubts about a contractor that would come out to a home remove, install, haul-off, and warranty a toilet for only $110.00. Keep in mind we offer lifetime parts and labor warranties on all of our work vs. a standard 1 year warranty which many contactors offer. We also offer uniformed technicians who go through extensive criminal background searches as well as drug screening. We do not claim to be the low price provider, however we are also not the most expensive in our market. I can assure you had we performed the work there would have also been a 5 star rating on quality as well:) We do appreciate the opportunity at the job and hope it went well with the other contractor. ~Management~
Snappy Electric & Plumbing came to my house for maintenance service. The representative was very knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating in helping me understand the system. He was remarkable and went above and beyond. It might be a bit expensive, but I like their service.
Mthurman30- Thanks for the business, "remarkable" is a very nice complement for your service tech. We are very happy to see our customer service went above and beyond as we work really hard building the culture and setting high standards in the customer service area of our company. Although we are not always perfect we strive for 100% customer satisfaction! Thanks again for the report as well as the business! ~Management~
I was very satisfied with Snappy Electric & Plumbing. They did the servicing for some of our older units. Everything was checked out, and whatever adjustments were necessary were made. Because these are old units, they explained what the future may hold, and provided us with an estimate for the repairs we may use in the future. They were very informative, polite, and neat, and I would gladly use them again.
We discuss on a weekly basis the importance of options and education of our customers homes and systems, whether it electric, plumbing, HVAC or it's during a home energy audit. I am glad your were satisfied with our service and hope we can be your go to company for all your home service needs in the future. ~Management~
I called Snappy Electric & Plumbing after we had a plumbing problem. They said that they would get their man out there once he finished the job he was working on. They got to us at night and they checked everything out and fixed it by 11. I was pleased that they were able to do that. We didn't have any toilets or showers and they were able to correct that. Matt the plumber did a superior job.
I hope we didn't interrupt your dinner being there so late! Glad we could get your plumbing back on line at such a late hour, I will pass the kudos along to Matt! ~Management~
Snappy Electric & Plumbing has always been dependable, which is why we've been using this company for a few years now. More recently our toilet tank was constantly refilling, and the piping needed to be upgraded. They sent someone over with a kit, and he was able to fix everything in fifteen minutes. He was very polite and thorough. Not only did he check the toilet that was running, but he also checked our water pressure and the toilet in our other bathroom to make sure that it was upgraded. I appreciated how he made sure to explain everything to us. Our experience with Snappy Electric & Plumbing has been awesome, and I would highly recommend them.
Thanks rich1979 we really appreciate you taking the time to post a review of your experience with our company. Don't forget we offer the same great service with our heating & air department as well:). Let us know if we can be of anymore assistance. ~Management~
We were hosting a large party Saturday of Memorial Day weekend when our 30 year old downstairs AC decided to give up the ghost that morning. We called a few places and Snappy was the only company who could get a tech out to us. John was the tech and here in no time. He had bad news about our unit but explained the situation and our options. Very professional, beyond knowledgable and friendly. We decided to buy a new AC and John was kind enough to give us a freon charge to last us through the party. Rod came out yesterday and installed our new unit. He's a great young man whose customer service and work ethic was very impressive. Now we're sitting cool. We also signed up for the HPP. Snappy has our business and we will highly recommend them to anyone.
Thanks you for such a detailed report on our company. John and Rod are 2 great employees and we will pass along the great feedback. We look forward to working with you in the future!~Management~
Good news is they were going to waive the $49 trip charge. Bad news is they never showed up. Wasted morning.
We apologize about the appointment, please give us a call to discuss as we do not have enough info track the account and find out what happened. ~Management~
Very courteous and consumer friendly company to work with and they do quick and quality work. The electrician, Eddie, came out an fixed our electrical problem in a jiffy.
Thank you for the great review! ~Management~
I called Snappy for what I thought would be a simple lighting job in my kitchen. Little did I know that the service tech they sent out would push us to also go with their heating and air service. It was tacked onto their hefty estimate and we were told we'd end up paying even more if we didn't sign up for their heating/AC service. It was a wasted $49 for the service call. If I needed heating and air service, I would decide on that then...I didn't need the hard sell when I wanted a simple lighting job completed. They lost my business before they ever got it -- minus the 50 bucks.
We apologize if you felt you were pressured into our Home Protection Plan; this was not our intentions. You would have saved 10% off of the quoted work, Lifetime Warranties on the work, no charge for the estimate, plus additional perks from our other departments including cooling and heating tune-ups. With the 10% savings and the waived trip charge you would have almost received the agreement for a 1/3 of the price. This may have been were the confusion was with the technician seeming pushy as maybe he was not explaining properly. As for the quote our pricing is competitive with other licensed electrical companies in our market as we are neither the highest nor cheapest when it comes to price, but have to build in overhead outside of labor and material to be profitable as do all other service companies that offer the same type of services- (live operators and available service 24/7, lifetime warranties, drug tested and background approved uniformed technicians, trained call center which keep you updated with your scheduled appointments and email pictures of your technicians before they arrive, fully stock trucks, available plumbing, electrical, & HVAC service technicians, etc. etc… Again we apologize for the miscommunication and appreciate the opportunity to earn your business. ~Management~
Called Snappy at 6:00am. Spoke to someone who said they would have someone called and they did. Snappy(called back at 8:20am)scheduled someone would be out between 3:00pm-5:00pm 01/07/14. No one called or came out. I know they were extremely busy like the other plumbers but to schedule and not called or come out is bad business. Called them again around 6:45pm and was told they would have the manager call me. I'm still waiting and it's now 5:24am the next day. Snappy this really doesn't look good. I expected better. Next time I will know better.
We are extremely sorry for letting you down! Due to the record low temps we were flooded with calls for no heat and frozen water lines. After reviewing your account it looks like you called in just ahead of the call rush and protocol demands we take service agreement customers first. We did create a waiting list and inform customers to call around to other contractors as everyone was extremely booked. However this is no reason for the call center to drop the ball and not reach out to you to give you your options. I did call twice over the following 2 days and leave a message to discuss but never received a call back. We apologize for the bad service as we take customer service very serious and our call center is typically second to none this area. We do make mistakes and hope that we may receive another chance at earning your business at a later time. ~Adam Bunyard/ General Manager~
With no previous relationship with Snappy, this company rearranged their schedule and had someone out here in two hours on the coldest day of the year (let's hope). John was the tech and it was as though he was the owner, extremely professional and incredibly competent regarding our heater and the industry itself. He diagnosed it as frozen pipes in the attic and set it up to drain. I signed up for their service agreement for $149/year which offers an amazing deal. I have already recommended this company to my friends.
Thank you for the great review, John continues to be a great representative of our company and we are very happy to hear you appreciated his service . We also appreciate you purchasing our Home Protection Plan and look forward to our continued business relationship. Thanks again for the review! ~Management~
Electrician Eddie came early and did perfect work fast. I had to cap wires out of wall over our oven and he understood the issue and talked with us on how to solve it before he did any work, giving us an estimate in advance. I would use again.
Thank you for the review as well as the opportunity to earn your business. We look forward to working with you again in the future. ~Management~
