Like some other reviewers, I bought cleaning from Soap and Water through LivingSocial. The appointment was scheduled for 7:30 am, 2 months in advance. She said was the earliest she could do it. Fair enough: when one gets a service at a discount, one expects to go to the back of the proverbial line. Tonika arrived punctually, and with a helper. I was present while they cleaned. She didn't even ask me about changing the cat litter or even the bed linens. When they were "done" -the bathroom sink still had whiskers from shaving; -the dining room table was still dirty; -they left an empty bowl of cat food face-down on the dining room carpet, presumably vacuuming around it; -they did not throw away (or even move) an empty milk jug on the kitchen counter; -they did not empty the trash in the kitchen, bedroom or dining room; -they even left a bag of bathroom trash on a shoe rack in the foyer; -an empty glass I had left on an end-table in the living room the night before was still there, on an untouched coaster; -lastly, they left the seal from a carpet cleaning powder crumpled on the kitchen counter. As other reviewers reported, when "done" Tonika asked for a "travel fee" that would have amounted to an almost 40% price hike, even though nothing on the LivingSocial voucher mentioned such a charge. She told me she "wouldn't've came" without that extra fee. Never mind that we had a contract...

Do NOT book with this unprofessional company. Firstly, this company advertises that it is open on Saturdays. Not true. I bought a Living Social deal and called in April to book. I bought the deal because i wanted to get my home cleaned on a weekend, but when I called to schedule my appointment, the owner said that they only clean during the week. We scheduled for about 6 weeks out and she asked that I text her a reminder with the date and my address. A little shady, but ok. And I am glad I did because I have a record of it. She was supposed to be at my home by 7:45, so when no one had arrived or called by then, I called. She rudely told me that she would have to come tomorrow because she had 2 other houses to clean today. I explained that I had taken the entire day off and had texted her the reminder that she requested (and that I still had a copy). She hung up on my without apologizing. I assumed that we had been cut off so I called back. And she answered, said "don't bother calling again, I ain't coming" and hung up again. Wow. Mistakes happen- although, again, I have the text message that I sent her- but way to compound it.

It seems as though several people had great experiences with this service in prior weeks. I did not. I purchased the two-hour cleaning deal from LivingSocial for my vacant rental home. The house was just painted and had new carpet installed two days before the service, so I thought that deep cleaning two bathrooms and the kitchen in my 1200 sq ft home would be a piece of cake. They arrived a few minutes late, but that was fine with me. I waited in the car until they came. Before I put the key into the lock, they asked me to do a review, so I agreed. I let them in and detailed what I needed done, highlighting the bathrooms and kitchen. I also asked to make sure that they dust the vents and fan blades. I left to go work and asked them to lock up. No one called me when they were done, so when I got off work late that evening, I went by the to check their work. The first thing I noticed were the tubs and tub walls, they were still dirty. And the countertops had smudges. One of the sinks still had toothpaste in it and the crevices between the sinks and backsplashes were still dirty. I checked the kitchen. The hood over the stove had dust on it. The floor still had large particles under where the cabinets overhang. The light fixture in the eating area was dusty (it's nearly eye level). The laundry closet still had fabric softener and lint on the floor. I had to clean or re-clean everything. Not good...

I purchased a two-hour cleaning through Living Social. They arrived right on time and got to work. A few things were overlooked such as crumbs still on the table from breakfast and spots in the shower that I know can come clean. Also, while I didn't expect them to move all my furniture, I can see that they swept right along the sofa and changing table line when they could have gotten under at least a little. All in all, my house is cleaner than it's been in awhile and they were very kind.

I purchased a Livingsocial voucher for a 2 hour cleaning. Tonika was professional and kind throughout the entire process. She worked diligently to ensure my home was sparkling to my satisfaction. She summoned me to inspect her work and I was more than happy with the results! She even scrubbed inbetween my bathroom tiles to get the hard stains out. I've been sampling cleaning services in Atlanta through groupon and living social for the past year or so---Soap and Water has provided the best work! I would recommend Soap & Water to anyone!

I was pleased, my house was pretty disgusting so it was a dramatic change. They told me they were booked for three weeks when I called, but said if there was a cancellation they would call, which they did two days later. I recommend it!

Either all the comments are fake or her service has gone south quality wise... I got a CrowdSavings deal for 2 hour house cleaning. So not worth it...it looked like nothing had been done. She moved around things on the floor to make an impression that she did clean the floors but there were dust bunnies everywhere and in some places she just swiped dirt underneath the furniture! All the furniture has dust on it too. The counter tops in the kitchen were sticky and the toilet cleanliness left a lot to wish for. She also "cleaned" a few plates that were in the sink and they were still greasy. In the kitchen she did clean the floor but with some dirty mop because it smells rotten and there are dirty smears on the floor. She made the bed nicely and organized cushions on the sofa but that's about it. I don't need to pay $60 for that. So disappointing...I even called her to explain my dissatisfaction and she was shocked and said she did the best she could. I'm not a cleaning professional but I can make my house spotless in 2 hours. This was just $60 totally wasted.

I was in a bind over the Christmas holiday and Tonika was able to fit me into her schedule. She did an AMAZING job! So much so that now I'm a regular customer! I've tried for about 3 years to find a reliable, trustworthy and quality service to assist me with cleaning my home and the search is finally over!
