I love this program!, 8/27/2008

This is our boy's second season with Soccer In The Streets and we've had an excellent experience. It's got everything going for it: great value, a great mix of kids (racially and economically), and a... fun-oriented spirit that encourages the kids to have fun with soccer and not worry so much about winning. Our experience has been completely positive.

Soccer in the Streets, 8/27/2008

As a former volunteer, I can honestly say that Soccer in the Streets offers soccer coaching at Atlanta's best with enthusiastic volunteers who care in a warm and loving environment. The majority of... the volunteers have actual playing experience whether from high school, college etc and are willing to share their knowledge with participants. People are genuinely kind and become like an extended family and open to help. Finally, I can't say I have never seen a group of people that willing to help and get involved as much as this group. I am happy I got my start and continued my soccer career as a coach and referee with Soccer in the Streets!

really positive impression

i went to the orientation meeting and plan on being involved with this organization. the organization was very well organized, interactive, and inspirational. although it is a relatively small organization, they make a really big impact. i hope many people will get involved. keep up the great work.

Ok, I'm biased, but...

Everyone knows the value of team sports for the benefit of kids - most adults can recall their own experience with some type of physical activity as a child and how it taught many valuable lessons through participation. So here is the penultimate example - use a very accessible, universal and affordable sport to teach ALL kids, including those who can't afford to participate and whose parent hardly represents the typical "soccer mom," important life and social skills as they have fun and get fit by playing. From toddler to college, all kids are welcomed and catered to by Soccer in the Streets. Very family-oriented and inclusive. "No drama" recreation in your neighborhood that doesn't cost a house payment to participate.

Soccer in the Streets

This program utilizes a very energetic group of coaches. They keep kid constantly moving during practice sessions. Some of the little ones (8under) have excellent control of the ball.
