I have been a customer at this location for a few years, and although some of the services were a bit overpriced, I did enjoy the Lumiere, Body Wrap, and Beauty Angel. I kept going because the manager at the time (who left a few months ago) really made it a good experience. She would see me coming and have my products ready for me (depending on what I was doing) She learned what I liked and didn't like, and anytime there was a sale on a specific service she knew I frequented, she would either catch me when I came in, or call me to let me know of a special they were running. She learned that I did not like someone to pressure me into purchasing products that I did not want, unlike the current staff, and leaned what she could sell me, and would try to find me deals on the products and.or services that I did like. Sadly, however; within the past few months since her departure, the service, as well as the cleanliness of the store, quality and/or knowledge of the staff has taken a huge dive. The floor is often dirty in the Thermal Wrap room, when I get a wrap, I usually get a Lumiere at the same time. Once I am wrapped, however; I am usually left to my own devices. I can hear the girls chatting in the front, but rarely does someone come to check on me, during the process. They do not come to remove the Luminere when it is complete, and I am left to unwrap myself. I have several Lumieres and wraps left, and then I am done with Solar Dimensions.

I don't usually feel this strongly about a business, but this company is immoral. Plus, I've worked at a tanning salon before so I know what the experience should be like. The people at SD are salespeople and try to up-sell you on everything! They trick you in to signing an incredibly expensive contract that they aren't truthful about it, and then if you want to cancel it you have to go there in person to cancel it! Beware! They claim unlimited spray tans but don't tell you that it's just for Level 1 and you have to pay extra for a 2nd spray pass which is usually just NORMAL for a spray tan. VERY immoral business practices and NOT worth it! There are other salons out there that are way better and much cheaper!

This particular location needs a new mystic machine! I can do the mystic once and get great color! Although I am usually soaking wet with the solution afterwards. And then 1 week later I can get absolutely nothing! I mean...nothing! When you are wanting to do mystic for a special occasion it is horrible when you trust the machine will work to it's fullest and then you are left waiting 6 hours and end up being pale (no time now to go somewhere else). I have done mystic before at different locations and the machines are great! They even talk to you! But this one I chose because it was a little cheaper...I guess you get what you pay for. It looks like it was the first mystic even invented. :(

Matter of fact it WAS the first Mystic ever invented! The great news is early in 2009 we installed a brand new VersaSpa UV Free booth and clients have been blown away with the results. Not only is the application much more enjoyable and the tan dramatically better, but this booth actually blow dries you after the sprays so you walk out virtually dry and ready to put your clothes on! No more towel drying!!!
Visiting from CA. Check 4 tanning places in the area. This salon was very impressive, tanning beds are awesome, very clean, girl behind the counter was amazingly knowledgeable, very young but so well educated. I purchased 3 visits and I was tanned after second time. Their lotions work really well too, my skin was soft and smell good. The beds are new with air, very comfortable. I wish we would have such tanning salon in my area.

The staff is very well trained and the equipment is far superior to anything else I've ever used. The salon is always spotless and the employees are very friendly and knowledgable. They have many different levels of beds, so there's normally something to fit anyone's budget. I spend the extra money for the high class beds because they get me SO dark SO fast! It's worth the extra money. I definitely recommend this salon.

Requested service terminated one month early on four month contract. Confirmed four times over 5 weeks the early cancellation date was correct. (Never offered cancellation paperwork even when asked what needed to be done. Told the date was already the early termination date.) Credit card charged month after cancellation date despite the four verbal confirmations of early cancellation date. Representative was to call next day after she talk with owners since she was not allowed to give refunds at that location. Called late the next day after not receiving a return call. Message relayed from representative that they could not give refunds. Could either come by and sign cancellation forms to not be charged again (even though it was suppose to be the last charge on the original contract) or receive 30 days of a service that was not wanted or usable due to travel and other obligations. (The reason for the early cancellation.)

The receptionist was friendly and explained all the options without any pressure to buy. The price was higher than listed on the web site, but since this was a one-time visit for me, I didn't complain. The tan I selected was one of the mist/fog versions that sprays on the tan. The process was really quick and I was happy with the results. It seemed pricey at $35 per session, but I didn't do any comparison shopping, so I can't complain.

I was satisfied with the tanning service of this Tanning Salon. BUT - when I requested to cancel my contract, a few days prior to the exact 30 days - I was told I could not cancel early. Instead I was told to submit my cancelation anytime, the first week after the 1st of the month. Reportedly, I submitted my request on the 5th (stupidly, I did not save my copy). Unknown to myself for several weeks (I was out the country), the cancellation was viewed as "late" and I was charged for another month. When I explained the situation to the owner, she took the side of her employee, and claimed I must have misunderstood the established cancellation date. She would not refund my money - but she did offer to allow me to tan for the month I paid for. I think her employee gave me false information on purpose, so she could meet her sales qouta. I declinced the offer to tan for the EXTRA month I paid for. I will not go back again, and will tell everyone I know the pitfalls of their contract agreement, strict cancellation requirements, and unethical employees.
