My sister just took my 80 year old mother there today for a pair of shoes because she is diabetic and has difficulty walking and was in shock that the employee there told them they could not help her today. My sister had been there a couple of days ago and spoken to a very nice man who said all she needed to bring was the doctor's prescription for the shoes and they would take care of her. My sister and mom got there at 3:45 p.m. and the store does not close until 5:00 p.m. The uncaring employee today said she needed an appointment and that they did not do diabetic shoe fittings on Saturday! The man earlier in the week never made mention of this! Do they not realize how hard it is to get my mom out of the house now? (she just got out of the hospital a couple of days ago after a fall). If they really cared about the people who they are supposed to be serving, they would have never turned her away. If you want to be treated with respect and care, take your business elsewhere!
