I LOVED working with Ryan and his crew. He was very honest, always on time and very efficient. He would recommend the things that you really need. He would not try to sell more stuff to do.Very... reasonable price. I would highly recommend to hire them. Very good people and pleasant to work with.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
We contacted Solid Rock Landscape and Drew came out and gave us a very professional evaluation and timely estimate for the work we wanted. We knew we would use Solid Rock if the estimate was... workable because Drew was very professional and quick to tell us what would work and not work. His solution for our short paver walkway was absolutely perfect. We also needed some assistance on removing old mulch from when a tree stump was ground. There was some one the spot decisions made with the recommendation of Drew and Roy (site supervisor). Everything worked out great and Solid Rock adjusted to what we needed and immediately made sure we were satisfied. We cannot say enough about how well we were treated and our satisfaction with the final solution. Bottom line: Price was good and work was excellent. Would give a recommendation without hesitation.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

1) Promised to move drainpipe - which was one of the main points of hiring them! - but they didn't, and by the time we noticed, it was too late. 2) Promised to replace retaining wall but replacement was 9" too short! Then they charged $300 more to do what we asked for in the first place.

These guys were flat out awesome. I didn't really even shop around. I just saw good reviews on Kudzu an gave them a chance. They completely scraped and leveled my front yard and re-sodded with Bermuda grass. It took them a day and a half to get everything done. They did a fantastic job and I have been getting compliments left and right from all my neighbors. One neighbor even came up and asked the guys to come give a quote on his yard. I would highly recommend these guys!!

Yesterday Solid Rock Landscapers changed the appearance of my home for better, by: adding sidewalks out of rocks, stone pavers and mulching my flower beds. Their landscape work was like a facelift, adding beauty to my house. I am totally satisfied and highly recommend them. The work they did will continue 'to speak well' of them.

These guys maintained my yard for the past 3 years. Sadly, it seems they now have more business than employees and their service levels have started to show. 1) Starting with step stones they installed for me. After 3 attempts at them coming back to level them and be flush with the grass, I finally paid another landscaper to remove and replace them. 2) They didn't get around to cutting the grass late winter and before spring so now I have browning spots. 3) If it rains during the week, they skip you and come back the next week. 4) They used a riding mower in shaded/wet ares and caused tracks on new sod. 5) I put in a pool and had the pool builders landscaper install new sod afterwards. Then, just a few weeks later I asked Solid Rock to go ahead and put new sod down on the remainder of the property. The quality in sod from the first application to the next was night/day. The sod from Solid Rock came with weeds. 6) The sod mentioned above was delivered by an 18 wheeler at 2:00am, yes 2:00am, the morning before installation. Of course, they used a loud forklift to unload it too. I received complaints from neighbors about it the next day about he noise and time of day. All in all, I'm saddened to leave such a review. I tried to give the owner multiple chances to correct the issues and get back to the service level they used to provide.

Solid Rock is without a doubt the best landscape contractor in my book. Past experiences with so called landscapers has been a disaster. They'll promise you everything and never deliver. Michael has a crew that does deliver and they do it the right way. Our subdivision's common areas have been neglected for years. Since Solid Rock has taken over they have began to create an eye appealing area that our community hasn't seen in years. The neighborhood is commenting on their great work and homeowners are now having them care for their lawns. The best part is that Solid Rock delivers what it promises and it all comes at a fair price. I've used them in the past at our home and you can see the results.

I use Solid Rock for ongoing lawn maintenance. At first, I had them mowing and edging weekly, and they were superb. For a few dollars more, I 'upgraded' to a flat monthly charge which includes not only the mowing, but also pruning, leaf removal, and basically anything necessary they find during their weekly visits. Their rates are fair, and have remained stable for the several years I have used them. I have no complaints or concerns, and intend to continue use of their services.
The Solid Rock Team did a great job! The project came out beautiful, but what was most impressive was that they showed up when they said they would, did what they said they would, and charged what they said the would. That is pretty uncommon today for that industry. Again, great job and I am looking forward to our next project.
Solid Rock has taken excellent care of my lawn for many years. Their superior service, reliability, quality, and customer care has retained my loyalty. Their crews gove "above and beyond" and will perform extra services as requested. I'm pleased to wholeheartedly recommend Solid Rock! I've gladly recommended them to friends and neighbors.
to make this short and to the point. After hiring Solid Rock, and getting an awful product, I did a little more homework. Not only has the "company" been sold over 3 times in the last 36 months, its a child that has never operated a business. To make it better, during the work, certain employees were taking smoke breaks, but not nicotine! Beware!

I am not sure who this review is from as we do not have any unsatisfied customers. After looking into this further, we think this was a mis-post as the same message was posted on another local Landscaping/Lawn Maintenance companies review. I would like to state that SRL has been in business since 1993 and merged with Quickcat Landscaping 3 years ago. We also have a zero-tolerance drug policy with all employees. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me directly at 770-527-3969. Thank you, Michael Kimbell President, Solid Rock Landscape, Inc.
I have used Solid Rock Landscape for hardscape and landscape projects, both with results that exceeded my expectations. They provide monthly maintenance and do a superb, thorough job every time. I couldn't be more pleased.

Rock Solid created some flag stone paths for us in our backyard and used a joint compound that started to wash away quickly due to natural sloping of our flagstone paths. After reporting the issue, Michael has his guys came out within days and applied a new type of compound on all the pathways (even though we only asked them to apply it to the areas needing it most). They did it all free of charge and the paths are better than they were. Rock Solid stands behind their work, and they did a fantastic job overall on our yard. Other quotes came in thousands more for the same type of work. Highly recommend

A couple of days ago we had a storm pass through that left trees down all around our house and covering our driveway. Michael and his crew came out the very next day and worked very hard to get all the trees and debris removed/cleaned up so I was able to get out of my driveway. I would highly recommend Solid Rock!!! Job well done!!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Solid Rock. Michael and Ryan has done several projects for me in the past, everything has always turned out better than expected, completed when promised and has been affordable. I like to go the Solid Rock’s website from time to time just to see what new pictures they have added of work they have completed. The gentleman that is writing in about his yard is hard to understand. All I can say is “Go Solid Rock”.

I selected Solid Rock Landscape to install a Zeon Zoysia lawn after interviewing 5 companies. Michael's crew prepared the ground and laid the dormant sod in March 2012. (Now, 5 months later, it turns out the the sod is not Zeon, but a zoysia significantly cheaper. That I and one of my neighbors are 70+ may not be germane, but one reads of scams directed at seniors.) Michael sent his TruGreen agent in April and May to put down chemicals. The grass is 50% dead. I've attached photos. On June 19, 2012, Michael emailed saying "There is nothing wrong with your grass." My neighbors on both sides also had Solid Rock lay zoysia. Their grass is dead too. Michael Kimbell's 1-Year Guarantee appears worthless. Be careful out there, folks, My water bill shows 9,000 gal/mo over my normal use. The worst areas are outside my electric dog fence (As Michael knows.). It's 2 lazy dogs, BTW, who don't visit my neighbor's yards. As you can see in the photos, the damage is far beyond the biological capability of two dogs. "Working with me" meant spreading ammonium nitrate and saying the dead grass would come to life and "jump" out of the ground in 7 days. It didn't. Resurrection is a very rare talent and not possessed by TruGreen. To my knowledge, Michael has not been to see the dead grass. Said he would, though, just last week. His TruGreen people do not return calls.

I would like to personally respond to Mr. Hollimans review in Solid Rock's defense. We have been in business for 15 years and take pride in our customers as well as the services we provide. We do stand behind our work and we along with TruGreen have tried working with Mr. Holliman, but you have to be willing to maintain a new lawn. Lack of watering and continuious use of 3 dogs will damage a lawn quickly. I wish every lawn was low maintentaince but they are not and we press that to our customers. Those who have put in the effort have beautiful lawns. We do not like having unsatisfied customers and we wish we could have satisfied Mr. Holliman's needs.
Michael Kimbell, Owner
I cannot say enough about Michael and his crew. From the first phone call for an estimate to a question I had just before they came out Michael answered the phone every time. The crew arrived on time, were courteous and professional, and they finished the job early and under the estimate. I highly recommend Solid Rock for any landscaping needs.
