I have a family member that lives here. It's extremely difficult for elderly folks to have to move, but we are strongly considering getting my relative out of this place. We were hoping that new ownership with Atria would mean an improvement in service and value. Unfortunately, that hasn't happened. They've undergone almost an entire management change, not for the better, and the staff turnover rate is horrible. The price is substantially higher than similar facilities, which is really a shame since the value received is so poor. Many of the staff have limited English language proficiency which presents quite a challenge for elderly residents. Response to requests for service sometimes takes weeks. They advertise a gourmet dining experience - what a joke. They lost their HEAVILY marketed on-site physician services (a godsend to many of these folks) because they wanted too much money for the space. The bus drivers get lost between the facility and North Fulton Hospital or Northside Alpharetta, both less than two miles away and on major roads. Do yourself a favor if you check this place out - do your homework, ask a lot of hard questions, and check out other places. Many residents have moved out to other places in the Alpharetta area.

If you are looking for senior living, 62+ years, in the Atlanta Georgia area, I would recommend Somerby of Alpharetta. It has great facilities, an excellent Chateau restaurant, and the residences says they are happy living there and you can see it on their faces. Robert www.55CommunityGuide.com
