Best place to go for happy hour IMHO. Cheap drinks and delicious tapas. Beer was only $3. I ordered the crabcake slider tapa, which I'm going to get again and again and...

If you love wine, this is the place for you. They have 100 wines you can get by the glass...and if you have a bigger occasion to celebrate- well they have over 1000 of them. Not only is their wine good though- I had their potato gnocchi and wild mushroom flatbread. Both DELICIOUS! The wild mushroom flatbread is very cheesy but not an overwelming mushroom taste.

great dining experience. LOVE the tapas menu option-- a variety of unique california dishes! great wine and cocktails as well. Could be a business/ casual setting or a sit down family meal. highly recommend it!!

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying Downtown Pittsburgh's own Sonoma Grille. The food is a bit pricey, but well worth the few extra dollars. Everything from the appearance, the ambiance, the great service, and the gourmet food (let's not forget the to-die-for dessert) was top-notch. Definitely a place you need to visit.

this place had probably the best service that I've received in a long time! not only were the waiters friendly and informative they were on top of their work and were always giving us the attention that a waiter should give! in addition, the food was excellent and the dessert was to die for!

It's great that downtown has revived itself, and The Sonoma Grille is definitely a testament to that success. It's a wonderful, classy yet affordable spot that seems to me to fit any occasion. Once I found out that they have a happy hour for their wine I go there at least once a month, if not more. Kung-Fu Girl is one of my favorite wines, but the staff is very knowledgeable and can always make recommendations. The only flaw I have ever found is that I have had trouble finding parking in the area. But other than this The Sonoma Grille is a great place for wine or dinner. I think I will actually stop in after work today.

My husband surprised me with a night on the town last night, and we started here at Sonoma Grille. I'm not a full vegetarian, but I do try and stay away from red meat-not so easy when eating out. Sonoma though, had a great selection of not only vegetarian foods for me, but fish dishes my husband devoured. Try the scallops wrapped in bacon- particularly good. Restaurant was packed, so the service was slow, but we didn't mind the time together :-)

This restaurant has a great happy hour menu with some awesome deals. I would recommend the White Sangria and a drink called Lefty. The White Sangria is very light and fruity...a twist on the classic sangria. Lefty has a light and refreshing taste with a hint of cucumbers, which is delightful! As for the food, the portions are small but worth it. Try the tapas plates, especially the Jerk Popcorn shrimp, which has a sweet, simple taste. One of the larger dishes I would recommend would be the Sourdough-crusted Salmon. So yummy! I will definitely be coming back soon :)
