Dr. Soukkary's favorite saying is ""no news is good news,"" which always rubbed me the wrong wayand then after a year as her patient when I actually got ""news"", I was really sorry that she was the one who is giving me treatment. First of all, she was very rushed about giving me any explanation about the diagnosis and the procedure. She has a very busy practice and I understand that that makes her tight on timebut that's not the feeling I want to have with a doctor. This is my reproductive system, come on!I had questions, for which her staff sent me brochures. The procedure she did, colposcopy, was very very painful during and for days afterand it seemed very messy (without getting into details). When I made my appointment for the 6 month follow-up, she found my issue was not resolved and needed further treatmentI was not going to go through all that again so I went to a new doctor, and apparently the procedure should have never been that painful or distressing!Dr. Soukkary has bad bedside manner, she doesn't follow up, she doesn't like spending time answering your questions and making you feel good and she is not the best with proceduresmessy and rough. ...

I was having serious issues that needed immediate attention. A good friend recommended Dr. Soukkary and after lossing faith in the OB/GYN I had for over 10 yrs, I decided to try her out. She has great reviews so I thought I was making the right decision. Turns out, she didn't follow up with me as she should have and I had to be rushed to the ER for emergency surgery. I'm not only disappointed, I'm devasted.A good doctor follows up. A good doctor calls back, checks in. So while all seems well on the outside, the bottom line is, if your doctor is not on top of your medical care, why is she/he your doctor? Tip: Be on top of your own medical care and only ask and expect the best.
