We had taken our animals here for years. I have appreciated the friendliness, the scheduling appointment ease; however, the costs of those same visits are getting more and more expensive with extra services being highly recommended. We are looking for another vet that can give us the friendly service at a more affordable price, without us feeling like we are being recommended services we may not need.

Love Souper Jennys; sandwiches are delicious and the soups are always fresh and homemade. My favorite time to go to Jennys is sunday brunch and thrusday night Grilled cheese night. Brunch is yummy and unique with everything from Chocolate gravy biscuts (yes as goos as it sounds) to goat cheese frittata. Thursday nights is grilled cheese or Israel bagel and a variety of salads or specialty soups - yummy! they even let you bring your own wine and give you a glass at no charge !! and if you are still hungry, the s'mores are a great way to end the evening. The service is great especially Jessica and Eric.

I started dining at Souper Jenny when it first opened several years ago! Jenny was almost always on site, and she saw to it that the quality was always superior. I still like to eat at this cafe, but the biggest complaint I have is that unless you want to eat between 11:00 and 12:00, they ALWAYS run out of over half of their daily featured items!! I have brought this up to the management (not Jenny, because she's rarely around anymore) and their excuse is: "we make everything fresh daily and don't know how many people will be coming in...sorry"! Well, for all the years in the restaurant business, they have a really good idea of the flow of traffic and they also serve their soups for more than one day (and on the weekends they offer soups in their refrigerated case on sale)...think weekly leftovers?? Anyway, what I used to feel was a true interest in the customer has now become somewhat of a "mill" operation! How sad, because the food is really excellent, but without the founder on site, the management really doesn't give a s--t!! One day while in a very long line, the server was complaining to another employee about how annoyed they were that the phone was ringing in the middle of the lunch rush...right in front of customers! Jenny, I hope you read this review, because I watched you work so hard to create a unique concept and your help needs to be watched over! Running out of soup, salad, rolls, and desserts is not my idea of good quality control.. Thanks!

Everyone seems to love this place, and so do I. I try to avoid the peak rush at lunch and go a little later. The restaurant is tiny, so most people get their stuff to go. Everything is homemade and usually quite delish.

I love Souper Jenny's cozy euro-atmosphere. The people in there are super friendly and sometimes they are even singing! The choices are healthy and very tasty and the kids night is great fun with s'mores. Jenny is very hands on and comes to talk to the customers like old friends. The pictures hanging all around the place make it feel like a home. Only downside (but hey, just for the customers: not for them...way to go!) is that they close all August :) Amelia
