ceiling fan install
Nick and his guys are great. Lance and Matt, came by and installed our ceiling fan, no hitting the walls with their ladders, very clean and conscientious. Great work, installed in about an hour. I was previously advised by another contractor it would take 2-3 hours for twice the price. Lucky for me he flaked....

Disapppointed
We were installing a light fixture in our home when something went wrong with the electricity. The microware and various other parts of the house did not have electricty. We called Nick. Between he and two other employees they spent 17.5 man-hours on this job. In the end they never found the problem and "advised the owner to install new wiring to restore power to these locations." Which is what they did. The fix probably took about 3-4 hours. Why would a professional electrician waste 10 hours troubleshooting something that would not be a cause for danger of fire? Why after 2 or 3 hours of troubleshooting didn't they advise us what could be done instead? We were billed for 15.5 hours at $65/hour (Nick threw his 2 hours in free) plus materials for a job that clearly, including the troubleshooting, could have been done in half that time. I gave them stars for their quality because when they finally did the rewire the quality was fine. Our problem is with his work ethics.

Great Service
Called Nick on Memorial Day to inquire about a ceiling fan install. Received a competitive quote and called back Tuesday to schedule. Nick worked around my busy schedule and got me in by Friday. Sergio came out on time and was very friendly and professional. He even took the time to ensure that the placement of the fan was the best fit for the room. Cleaned up after his work and left me with some do-it-yourself tips. Pleased with the service and will definitely use on our next project.

Polite and Professional
Nick always answered his phone. Responded quickly for a bid. Answered all my questions. Did not promise what he could not deliver on. Provided a detailed quote within hours. Agreed to a date to perform the work. Showed up on time with a polite and professional crew and completed the job quickly and without collateral damage to my home. Source One was not the cheapest bid, but we are confident it was by far the best value. We could not ask for more, and gladly recommend his services.

Honest Work
We were told by both an electrician and home inspector that we had major electrical issues. When Nick from Source One Electrical came to inspect he said all we needed were some minor repairs. He charged us a tenth of what others were quoting us.
