Bad install. SE Stoneworks was a subcontractor for Andrews and Crockett. They installed our granite improperly and did not give it enough support. The granite cracked and we tried to call Joe Galpin from S.E. Stoneworks and phone was disconnected. We went to address listed and he went out of business. We then contacted the Contractor, Andrews and Crockett and told them what happened and they said they don't warranty another companys work even though they sub-contracted S.E. Stoneworks. Scott Crockett, from Andrews and Crockett basically laughed at us and said we probably broke it and was just looking for free repair. If you had S.E Stoneworks or Andrews and Crockett work on your granite/house you are out of luck.

Southeast Stoneworks sold and installed to me an unique type of granite. I was worried about up keep and staining on granite. The guy at SE stoneworks told me its a great piece of granite, works and looks good. No information on upkeep or how easy this type of granite can get permanent stains. The granite guy, the contractor and the granite installers all misinformed me about this granite and was obvious they just wanted a quick, expensive sale. Installers were borderline incompetent, typical just get in, get out, get my money. Update..This company has gone out of business. Turns out they were shutting down during our remodel. The owner Joe Galpin shut down and was forclosed on. Do not hire or work with anybody that does business with Joe Galpin.

I wanted to get stone in my home and was looking for a local company to do the work. I did not want someone I could not communicate with and i wanted a good price. Joseph did a nice job and gave me a great price. Some of the companies seem to be only a website, but Southeast Stoneworks is a real company with good customer service. Thank you guys.
