The first of this year I arrived for my appt. at the Deerbrook location for check up/cleaning. I was advised I had a past due balance of $89. This was not possible since I always pay in full. Their staff had over charged and submitted the wrong billing codes on the wrong plan. I rescheduled my appt. for a date after my account was straightened out. Upon arriving for my next appt (2nd time) I was informed that the hygienist had "just" gone into labor and I would need to reschedule. They claimed they didn't have a good # to call me. The 3rd appt was scheduled for a Friday. When I arrived I was told the dentist was off on Friday and I needed to reschedule. The 4th reschedule was for a Monday and when I arrived I was told the hygienist was off on Mondays. I can't believe a dental facility could be that incompetent, so I can only surmise it was intentional. I will file an official complaint that will be sent to the Corporate office, the Insurance Co, Better Business Bureau, and the Dental Board. There wasn't even the courtesy of a phone call. The 1st excuse was they had the wrong # on the chart. The 2nd excuse was that there was no answer. The problem is my number has been the same for years and my phone/call id shows any missed calls and I had no missed calls!!!

The wait takes forever, even if you have an appointment. Heaven forbid you have an emergency, in which case it will take them weeks. Odd thing is if you have insurance you will have to wait to see the dentist. If you offer to pay cash they can squeeze you in.

I went here as a recommendation to hopefully cut some cost since I am uninsured. Well the woman doing my x-ray was rough, said she normally does not work on that machine and they were getting on her nerves, then while roughly trying for about the 5th time to x-ray she broke a part of my wisdom tooth that I was going in for with the utensil she was shoving in my mouth!. Then she blamed it on the tooth for having a hole in it. She did not tell anyone but proceeded in frustration after I questioned her. Another guy seemingly a tech said he would try to get the x-ray because he knew how. Almost in an experimental way. This was extremely uncomfortable. Then I told a "Dr" that she broke my tooth. She then proceeded to tell me to tell the Dr who sees me. Long story short. The billing guy called me up and recommended an oral surgeon to extract my wisdom tooth. I mentioned the lady broke my tooth then said I didn't have to pay for the X-ray. He would note it in my chart. I told him that wasn't necessary because I would never be back. He too said my tooth broke because its fragile. He wasn't there, not a dentist, and did not mention any type of reprimand for that employee. This place has a high volume of customers and workers. Too much is going on and not enough attention is being paid to the safety and satisfaction of the patients. Everyone I encountered was unprofessional. I was very shocked by this experience and I would like to pursue further actions.

If you enjoy having poor work done on your teeth, unprofessional dentists and office staff, a dental assistant that will put on a pair of gloves, scratch her face, and then want to place her hands in your mouth WITH the same gloves on, and an idiot for an office manager then this is the place for you! Call and make an appointment today!!!

During a recent visit with Dr. S. F. Ravari, I had a tooth filled & I thought that I felt him brush the tooth next to it while holding the drill but I figured maybe I was mistaken because my mouth was deadened. Upon further inspection I noticed a tiny straight line across the bottom of the tooth. During my next visit I asked to speak with Dr. Ravari & told him that I think he may have knicked the adjoining tooth during my last visit & before I could even complete my thought he exclaimed I did not knick your tooth. I responded I think that he did & attempted to show him the tooth in question. He barely glanced from 3 feet away & said I did not do that & that it could not have been done by an instrument. Long story short we exchanged a few more words where he continued to get more rude and blame the chip on my bad hygeine & even came up to the front as I was leaving to yell at me that I was rude & he didn't do that. The knicked could have easily been fixed with a tiny bit of drilling & filling. If they were nice about it may have even allowed my insurance to pay for it. Dr. Ravari has also prescribed other questionable treatment plans (a crown on a wisdom tooth instead of pulling?). Just terrible.

I have never been so disappointed with service anywhere and anytime. I arrived at 3:25 for 3:30 appointment, just to be told that I should have gone to another office. I should have left then-hindsight is 20/20. Then I was given these ridiculously redundant forms to fill out. Why do they need your ss # 5 times on the same sheet? Finally after having waited 2 hours to see a dentist, I was quoted some exorbitant $1557 for partials and cleaning. After I agreed to pay $ 100(towards my final payment) I gave them my debit card. After reviewing the paperwork later, I realized that I had been lied to(in more ways than one) by this slovenly-looking greensuit who drew up the paperwork. I gave them my card for what I told them "$100.00"- they took $105. I was never told the cost of a screening visit. This was not discussed. I called the office, next day to cancel service. Additonally, the office was dirty, the employees unprofessional(especially the loud-talking rude receptionist-clerk). An associate referred me to these people which makes me rethink my ideas on friendship. This was a nasty, uncomfortable "hellish" experience.

I went to the Deerbrook Mall location for the first time in Feb. 2009 to get my teeth cleaned. I have an insurance plan that gives me 2 free cleanings per year. My appointment was for 1:00 PM. I waited in the waiting room for over an hour before they took x-rays. After the dentist evaluated my dental needs, he said that he would not clean my teeth unless I had 2 chipped teeth repaired and a deep cleaning. A financial consultant came to me and told me that the cost would be over $1,400. I told him that I did not want the work done so he escorted me to the front desk where the desk person asked me for $59 to pay for the exam. I told them that my insurance co-pay was only $5 and I would not pay them anything more. They called my insurance company and verified that I was right. They also told me that their estimate was wrong and they would call me with the correct pricing. It has been 3 days now and they haven't called. I must assume that they do not want to accept my insurance company's pay rate. All they want is for the insurance company to send them potential victims of their immoral practices. I have seen 2 dentists previous to this visit where they said that I did not need to have the chipped teeth repaired before they would clean my teeth.
