My children have been attending SHPS beginning in preschool. The teachers are wonderful, the curriculum is boosted well above grade level, and it is very family oriented. We have been nothing but pleased with the school as a whole. We are very excited about the transition in administration staff in the preschool department. They are making great changes to better the quality of education for their students. I would reccomend SHPS to anyone looking for a quality private school that cares about the needs of the students.

In our opinion, the new principal in the upper school is unprofessional and incompetent. Nobel schools should consider increased site visits and parent interviews to monitor the level of competence with this administration. The curriculum here seems behind the public school system and the teachers seem so afraid of their prinicipal, that the atmosphere seems unfriendly. We do not recommend sending your children here to this school. We recommend you consider other private schools and think twice if you're enrolling here just for the convenience.

We have been very pleased with this school and feel as though our son has received a top-notch education. The teachers and staff are very supportive of the students and really have done a good job communicating with the parents. We like the fact that he is being challenged academically, but is also appreciate the fact that the school has made a concerted effort to step up the athletics/extracurricular activities. Additionally, we have noticed a nice improvement in the school since the incorporation of the Nobel curriculum. We hope that this school will continue to expand its offerings with respect to both academics as well as extracurricular activities. Presently we are very pleased with this school.

I thought we were doing a good thing for our son by putting him in this private school. They have small class sizes so you'd think there is more time and attention paid to the childrens education.Well that couldn't be farther from the truth. There is the poorest communication between parents, staff and administration that I have EVER seen or experienced. Even the teachers complain about the lack of communication with parents and admin. Don't let them fool you. This is a stuck up group that is more into the perks than educating then education. THey service and cater to the the over priveleged. There was NO discipline in my sons class.Any time I asked a question I got a shoulder shrug and I don't know from his teacher. If your child is the least bit ahead of the game, gifted, advanced....RUN! His own teacher was too busy checking her e-mail and drinking her Starbucks to take the time to find extra work for them. And the ADMIN is OBlivious to the problem. when you complain(with a resolution suggestion) they simply tell you you are wrong and rude. My son's teacher last year (first grade) was Lazy and nothing was done about it no matter how many times I brought it to their attention. NOT worth the amount of money that they want.Challenger is a far superior school, acedemically and they told me they are on the same level as Challenger,NO NO NO,they don't come close. Has anyone else noticed that they DO not paticipate in ANY of the community events going on in Southern Highlands
