My Name is Allen Krebs, I am a native of Atlanta. I find myself having to defend my good name and reputation because of slanderous remarks made by a Jonathon King on email sites. With the internet it appears that anyone can say anything they please, as we all know there are two sides to every story. Lies cannot be allowed to go un answered. Southern Traditional Builders has been in business since 1987, we have built some of the finest homes in Atlanta, our work has been featured in numerous magazines including Architectural Digest. Basically my comments are this, our work speaks for itself, we are proud of our work and our reputation. WWW.STBATLANTA.com. We value our customers wants and needs, our customers homes and the product that we strive to deliver on a daily basis. We deliver quality, value, honesty and integrity in each project. We pay our subcontractors and our suppliers because without them we know we will not succeed. I am confident in saying that we are the best at what we do. Allen Krebs

My husband and I used Southern Traditional Builders back in 1987 to renovate our home when we moved to Atl. The project at the time was about $600K plus. We recently used STB again to renovate our home to modernized and update our kitchen. We do alot of entertaining and I can say that the finished project was impeccable as before. The project was completed with few problems. We live in a very upscale high end building in buckhead. Something does not sound right with the comments made before by Jonathan K. ?? That is not representative of our reality. Southern Traditional is known for doing very high end work, believe me in our building we have at least 250 residences, people talk. Southern Traditional has done work for some very very demanding people, and has been doing this for a long long time. Construction is a tough business that requires alot of knowledge and co-ordination of subcontractors. I know they have been in our home for 3 months. WE have been very pleased with the work produced by them. Brenda S.

Sotuhern Traditional Builders is probably one of the best at what they do, which is high rise interior customization work. My husband and I used them back in 1987 to renovate a condo, the work was probably in the price range of $600k plus at the time and the work was fantastic. We recently decided to modernize and update our kitchen and foyer/entry areas. We called Southern Traditional again to do the job. We are retired and do alot of entertaining in our home. As before the work was completd timely, within budget and was beyond our expectations, we are very very pleased. I checked with the BBB and was curious about this complaint by (TUNAbKING?). In over 20 years in business they have had only one complaint lodged against them and it has the complaint listed as resolved. King's comments do not coincide with our reality. We live in a highrise in Buckhead and have close friends, STB has completed numerous jobs in the building, for the likes of Coretta Scott King, and Elton John. We would know if somone is not performing properly.Construction is a tough business that requires alot of knowledge and co-ordination, major projects cost alot, and require alot of patience. Ill say it again, We have been very pleased with the work performed by STB and will continue to recomend them to anyone loking for the finest in construction. Brenda S.

My desire is that other first-time home buyers will avoid some of the mistakes I made, so I thought I would share my bad experience with Southern Traditional Builders. Southern Traditional Builders is a general contacting company based in Atlanta and from my experience have little expertise in new home construction. During the negotiations of my house, we were told that we would have a standard 1-year warranty on the construction of the house and that this was a typical builder's standard on all new construction. After putting a contract on the house we immediately began to notice problems. After the contract was in place, the speed and quality of construction work on the house diminished. Our original closing date was set for the first of June, however construction carried on and on. The construction of the house was not fully complete but I was influenced to close on July 25 and did (this was my first mistake). There is an unresolved complaint on this business at the better business bureau. Please visit my blog site for more information about my experience with this business. http://homeownersspeakout.blogspot.com
