I purchased a groupon for eyelash extensions and called to make an appointment. The girl I spoke with said that Shere, the one doing the extensions was very busy and she didnt have anything available for a week. She asked me to stay on hold while she spoke with Shere to see if she might want to come in earlier or on a day off. She booked me for the following week. Later that night, I received a call from Shere telling me that she wasnt going to come in because I was using a groupon. Basically telling me that It wasnt worth her time to service me because I wasnt paying full price. I am a hairdresser and have been in the service industry for 6 years. Never have I ever turned away a customer. I have my own salon and use groupon for my business as well and treat the customers as if they were full paying customers because I want them to eventually become long time clients. I have gone in early, stayed late, and went in on my days off because I love to make clients happy! I wouldnt recommend anybody to this rude woman! She may be good or bad at her job but she needs to know that the service industry is a people business first... so unprofessional!

For years I have wanted to have permanent make up for my eyebrows. They are as blonde as blonde can get and without eye brow powder I looked like Tilda Swinton the year she won the Oscar and wore no make up - scary! Sheree is a true artist!!! She did the most amazing job. I had my brows done almost a year ago and I can't believe I waited as long as I did. Wish I would have done thus 10 years sooner. I can swim , play tennis or just get caught in the rain and I still have eye brows! Sheree did such amazing work on my brows I came back and she did permanent eyeliner. OMG. Love it!!! While applying the permanent make up to my eye brows was super easy, and painless, the eye liner was a little trickier for me ( and probably Sheree with my constant blinking) but for the results I would do both again in a heartbeat. If you are debating whether to do permanent make up or not go and see Sheree at Spa Degas. She was fantastic and the results are better than I had even imagined!

Last year I had my eyebrows and eyeliner put on by Shere at Spa Degas. She did a fantastic job!!! Three weeks ago I had her to do my lips and lip-liner. Everything looks great, and I am one happy customer. It feels great to wake up in the mornings, brush my hair and take off. If you're thinking about doing this, don't wait. You'll love it!!! Shere is very professional and gives outstanding customer service. Her prices are very affordable and the BEST in Atlanta! Stop shopping around and go with the BEST Permanent Makeup Artist in TOWN!

I had upper and lower eyeliner applied July 17,2014. My main concern was the pain associated with this procedure. After reading some of these reviews I thought I had made a very bad decision in choosing Spa Dega for any service. Shere assured me that she would do her best to make sure that I had no pain. I must say that I had absolutely no pain. We had great conversations before and during my procedure. Very polite and very professional . I am very grateful that I did not allow one individual experience to keep from going to Spa Dega. I had very little swelling after the procedure, a little more on the second day but on the third day swelling is very minimum. Thanks Shere will see you in a few weeks for eyebrows!

Shere fixed my Eye Brows-I had permanet makeup done,by another makeup artist and the results were not good. I went to Shere for Lips and Eyeliner. She did a great job. So I asked about my brows-she fixed the shape and color. My brows were mismatched and the color turned to a purple tint. She fixed the color issue and the shape issue. She does great work. I highly recommend her services.

Rude on the phone, doesn't respect your concerns (this is permanent and on my face!!). During the procedure, which hurts more than I thought it would, especially with the numbing cream, she never told me what she was doing or when to expect pain. She also washed off my skin/eyes with a solution, which she never said what it was, that burned like fire. She just squirted it on there and rubbed it off and never warned me it would burn my eyes. Now it's been about 7 weeks since the procedure, my eyeliner looks pretty good, no complaints there. However, my brows are another story. The left brow didn't take near as well and is much lighter in color that the left, and the brow strokes on the left are much more curved, whereas the right are more straight and less natural looking. Also on the right brow there is an area that looks like a blob of ink. I have to fill my brows in every day to even them out to look normal. However, I decided to e-mail her to ask her if she could fix this, possibly by filling them in. She told me it would cost $50 for touch ups. I responded telling her since this was an error and i wasn't satisfied with it (and I'm coming back to you even after you messed it up the first time!! hello) that i felt like i shouldn't have to pay the $50. She basically told me "I'm not going to go back and forth with this, you need to find another tech." Horrible customer service.

Unfortunately we live in a society where social media allows people to say whatever they want whether it is true or not. This particular client emailed and said she loved her eyeliner but wanted to make it thicker and also wanted to have eyebrows darker because one side was a little lighter in color. I reminded her that each area would be $50 to touch up as explained on the intake form. This fee is only to cover cost of supplies such as needles, pigment, pigment wells, needle caps, needle tubes, numbing agents and other various other supplies. The fee is reasonable and not excessive, however, sometimes people want something for nothing. If the work was so horrible then why would you want me to do it again. Most people would just go to someone else. However, because I know my skill set is superior I won't do work for free. My time and skill are of value. Please note that the only people that complained about service were the ones that squabbled about price. Thank you to everyone who has continued to support my business since 1999 and thanks to the thousands of clients who have been very happy with their service.
I originally bought a groupon for two permanent makeup services back in April. I decided to go with eyeliner and lip liner. While the application was a little uncomfortable, Sheré was very patient and made the experience as pleasant as possible. After the healing process, I decided I wanted to go a little bolder on my eyeliner. I also needed a touch-up on the corners of my lips. Although no one can control how your skin heals after this type of procedure, Sheré still gave me an awesome rate to complete the touch ups I desired. She also stayed 3 hours late to work me in! I love the results and have posted my eyeliner below. My lips are still healing, I will post them once the peeling is completely done. I think I may also have my eyebrows done...

I would not recommend going here for permanent make-up. I purchased a $300.00 Groupon special and had permanent eyeliner and my eyebrows done here. I had the eyeliner done 4/18/13 and brows done 5/2/13. When I went in on 5/2/13 I informed Sherri that my eyes needed to be redone because you couldn't even tell I had permanent liner on the top and the bottom looked grey. I am an African American woman but, I don't have an extremely dark complexion. I was told that nothing could be done at that point because it was too soon for her to go back in because the healing process takes 6-8 weeks and to book an appointment for a touch-up in early June. I go in for my appointment 6/5/13 to get my eyes fixed and I am charged. I informed her that I felt it was poor customer service, I have contacted Groupon, and now I am making the public aware. As a customer I don't need to know how much you actually received from what I paid Groupon or that you aren't making any money. I couldn't even believe she was saying all these things as her defense. What really ticked me off is that she said I should have told her before I left. I have never had this done before, my eyes were puffy and swollen when I left, everything looked fatter and thicker than it actually was, not to mention I couldn't see as well because of the swelling. Now you will be able to see from the pics below the poor quality of work. The pics are from what was supposedly fixed on 6/5/13. Judge for yourself!!!

I am happy to have an opportunity to respond to this review. The Groupon that was purchased was for two services which were rendered. However, this client has eyes that does not, in my professional opinion, lend itself to thick eyeliner. Because I have been professionally trained in esthetics I would be remiss to not give a professional opinion on a service that is "permanent". Because of the natural appearance of her eyes, doing a thick line would close them up tremendously. I further explained to this client that the point of "permanent makeup" is not appear "made up" but to give a natural and beautiful appearance. However, the final decision was hers and I would do whatever she ask. She said she would take my advice. After looking at the work she said she was happy and thanked me. However, she later decided that she wanted it thicker and felt that because she changed her mind that I should do the work for free. I explained to her that unfortunately I had to charge a small amount of only $50 because that would cover the cost of the materials. My exact comment about the Groupon was that services are given at a discounted rate in order to introduce people to service that they may not normally be able to afford or be willing to try because of the cost and that the purpose is not to make a lot of money off the client. The comment was obviously misunderstood because my only point was to assure her that the $50 charge was not intended to gauge her but merely to cover my cost of new anaesthesia, new pigments, new pigment wells, new needles, new needle tubes, and new needle caps. Unfortunately, I cant give away services but I can give professional opinion but every person has a right to decline my opinion and choose for themselves. I was not informed that this client wanted thicker eyeliner until after her May 3rd at 10:44 pm. Unfortunately I can not include a print screen of the message that was sent because it would include her personal information such as name, phone number etc. Last but not least if the work was poor in quality then why would a client return 2 weeks later for eyebrows and then 4 weeks later for more eyeliner???? Why not just call Groupon for a full refund??? Thank you for hearing my side.
I bought a Groupon for permanent makeup last fall. On the plus side, my new eyebrows are a nice shape and look even on my face. However, I specifically said I wanted a thinner brow line, but got one thicker than I wanted. I needed a touch up after the first application of permanent makeup - OK, I get that, but even after having the second one done, I still really need a third touch up to fill in blank spots throughout the eyebrow. The tattooing only goes up to the existing hair on the eyebrow, not through it so it is blended throughout the entire brow. Consequently, there is a gap between the tattoo and the actual eyebrow. I was offered a third touch up (free) but don't want to go through the pain of application yet again.

All eyebrows are drawn on first. The customer must approve the new brow design prior to the application beginning. If I had been told that it was too thick then I would have made adjustments. However, once its done there is no way to make it smaller. This review is very unfair because in one sentence the client says that the brows look good and even and then in another sentence says that it too thick. Huh???? It seems that it all comes down to money. Permanent makeup is not unlike any other tattoo in that it may require more than one visit.
I have been going to Spa Degas since February 2010 monthly for a Brazilian wax. Sherri has been the person doing my wax for over two years and I've been very comfortable and happy with her professionalism and expertise especially with such a personal service. I highly recommend Spa Degas for waxes or any other service.
