Spa OM Magie "mediocre"
I have traveled the country and have been to several first class spasSpa OM Magie is average.
I called at 9 a.m. to schedule an appointment for the following week and was put on hold for over five minutes. When Reception took me off hold, she asked for my name and phone number and said she'd call me back. By 3 p.m. I had not received a call from them, so I called again. Reception seemed "too busy" again and placed me on hold. Another person answered and booked my massage for the following week.
I arrived for my massage 20 minutes early, no beverage was offered. I arrived early hoping they offered a Steam Sauna (which they didn't). I am told that they don't have me on the schedule. They have only two Massuers at the location and they are both booked. I left work early and now pretty I'm disappointed.
Reception offers me a complimentary foot bath for 20 minutes while they "figure" things out. They made an adjustment and squeezed me in. The massage itself was heavenly and I enjoyed it, even though it was 40 minutes instead of sixty. However, my opinion of Spa OM Magie is that the Service offerings are just mediocre and while the decor is lovely, they need to expand offerings & improve the Reception process. The Atlanta "Spa" Market is quite competitive and I have experienced better experiences at other Spa's in Atlanta. I will not be back to Spa OM Magie.

Don't be fooled!
I wish I had read the negative reviews before patronizing these con artists.
Some time ago I went in to buy a gift certificate for my wife. They poured tea for me, showed me the premises and sold me on buying a gift certificate for a massage and a manicure.
Now that my wife has finally decided to use it, they have pointed to the expiration date and refuse to honor it for its full value. To begin with, when I bought it they never said that it had to be used within 12 months.
What's really upsetting is that the purchase is still clearly in their computer system. They know perfectly well that they sold the cert to me. They just refuse to honor it and I live literally across the street from Om Magie.
So much for good neighbors. Go somewhere else.

unlicensed student, painful pedi, immodest massage
The brochure stated the Passage to India package was 4 hours, which is plenty enough time to perform the services and yet I was still there at 6:30pm. I was left standing in the hallway multiple times awaiting my next treatment. The massage therapist barged into the room 3 times while she knocked when I was naked. The manicurist was very nice, but shaved off skin on the outside of my right foot causing an abrasion and filed right through the skin on my big toe. (It's been 2 days and I can't touch the outside of the foot to anything without pain. I can send pictures if needed.
The facialist told me she was a student at the International School of Skin & Nailcare on Roswell Road. Facials by students are $17 ($35 for European) and my husband booked services here assuming they use licensed estheticians. She could not understand my questions, nor could I understand what she was asking me to do before, during, and after the facial. Although she was very proud to be a student awaiting citizenship, she's working without a license.
They would not provide the individualized yoga session. They switched the yoga session for a mani/pedi combo because I already knew how to do yoga. They told my husband it was because they didn't have time. They booked another client for a facial to further their income instead of providing the services described in the package. I will not return.
