Not impressed
I had been going to a privately owned facial/massage place in my neighborhood but this place is near my work so I thought I'd give it a try.
Well, they could do better for the price they're charging.
First of all I made an appointment and I still had to wait about 15minutes. I'm not sure if the lady even knew what I was there for, because she kept asking questions as if she were expecting a different customer.
The whole thing seemed rushed which is totally the opposite of what I want at a spa.
Not worth the money or time.
Not recommended.

Making a Change
They have added new services such as Botox and new owners!
I loved the cool dimmed relaxing atmosphere and water walls. It makes me unwind, relax, release tension and it works. I have been a customer for many years. Having visited other spas; I can honestly say that in the end Spa Sydell has given me the best experience. I do get massages every month, I am not a once a year spa goer and I can truthfully say this is the real deal. Whenever/if ever (rarely) I have a problem, they have always and I mean always treated me fairly.

For nails I use Lexi, she is great!

I buy series and take advantages of their holiday sales; in the end I pay $67.50 for a one hour massage, that’s a steal, really. You cannot beat that price considering you get a robe, steam room and lockers. If you can manage it, Sundays or weekdays are the best, less people.

This is the only spa I would buy a gift certificates from; You get value for your money.

GREAT SPA!

WORST spa
I had my weddig in Jan, and got my MANICURE at Sydell Spa Buckhead on my wedding day. With a spa that level, we would expect decent and professional service, but we were WRONG!
The manicure was horrible, not only did the lady (Kiki) mis-use the cuticle treatment resulting in chemical peeling of my fingers and hands, but also the nail polish was done so poorly it started forming "bubbles" within an hour of the manicure. It was my biggest day--my wedding day and my hands were ruined by Sydell spa. I took photos of them. I emailed them twice to complain, but did not get a response. They charged $30 for a basic manicure! If you don't want your hands (or any part of your body) ruined, you need to rethink about going there. I have photos of the mis-treated hands if anyone wants them.

Most stressful spa ever. Ugh.
My husband got me 2 gift certificates last Christmas for me and a girlfriend to go get a mani/pedi/massage/facial combo type package. From the moment we arrived things were weird. The waiting area obviously had drinks but no one offered us one. We were brought back to our massage rooms and had to change there and were never given robes or a place to put our belongings! When I came out of my massage I was so annoyed to see other women dressed in nice white robes while I had to get back into my clothes and drag my purse with me to my pedi. So rude! Then when I asked to speak to a manager about it I was treated like a crazy lady. I had to ask 5 times (!!) to speak to a manager and when I did he seemed like he'd heard the same complaint so many times that he just couldn't care about it anymore. To top it all off, there was a discrepancy between what my husband paid for and what we received of $30. The manager wrote me a little receipt that showed that they would be refunding his card. They never did! I called a total of 11 times to try and get the money credited but just repeatedly got brickwalled, so I gave up. These people are just awful. The least relaxing spa experience of my life! I cringe when I hear friends talk about buying a gift certificate to this place. Stay away!

Worth the money
For valentines day this year, my husband actually bought me a suprise gift certificate from Spa Sydell. I was incredibly excited about it. I had a thirty minute massage along with a speciality pedicure. It was very relaxing and definitely worth the money. (tipping is normally very high, so keep that in mind). I felt a little rushed throughout the session, but besides that I had a wonderful experience.
