Worst Spa I Have Ever Been To!!
I received a 1/2 day gc for mothers day last year and finally used it before it expired. I have been to many spas and have no idea how they even call themselves a spa. The rooms are tiny and you can hear everything going on in other rooms. For my facial, the blankets on the table were old & flimsy. The women giving it to me never let me relax, she talked the whole time trying to pressure me into buying products. The nail tech for my mani/pedi did the same. She told me that I needed a french pedi b/c of wearing dark nail color all year and when I went to check out was told that it was an upgrade and I owed them $9!!??? I was never informed of this. The place was very dirty. I never felt relaxed or pampered. Only pressured to buy and rushed because it was getting close to closing time. Such a horrible experience. I will never use them again and will tell everyone I know to do the same!!!!!!

Spa Sydell is a DIRTY THIEF!!!
I was looking forward to FINALLY using 3 old spa gift certificates that I had received as gifts for my upcoming 30th birthday, but was informed that I could not redeem them because they are over 2 years old. That's over $400 of my friends' and families' hard earned money that they flat out STOLE. I am a VERY busy person and unfortunately haven't had time to take off a whole day to spend at the spa until now. I looked forward to a nice relaxing day at the spa for my 30th, but now I have to inform my friends and family that all their generosity went to waste. Money is money these gift certificates should not expire. I realize prices may have changed, but I was more than willing to pay the difference. I will certainly be telling all of my friends and family to never buy me another gift certificate from this corrupt company again, and I warn everyone to avoid this unprofessional business like the plague! They aren't even that great of a spa to begin with....

Close to satisfaction
The price is pretty ridiculous for the service I get. I usually get waxes there and when I look after the waxer is done, it looks pretty clean. But who can really tell under those dim lights? C'mon now. As soon as I get home, I notice all these strands that the waxer missed (in obvious places) and I'd have to wax/pluck them again myself. Am I not paying for the wax PLUS tip?!?!! I've had more than 5 waxers and none of them get me waxed all clean. HIRE BETTER WORKERS!

Last experience left a bad taste in my mouth!
I have had mixed experiences here. Some of the providers are excellent, others- not. I DO NOT like the pressure to buy thier products! I am paying enough to be able to relax and enjoy without having my arm twisted to buy products! I've heard from some of them, that management pressures them to sell in order to keep thier job. My husband once bought me an all day visit. It was expensive and some of it was very good. The massage was excellent, the lunch was wonderful, however, the person who did my manicure and pedicure was not professional at all! She talk loudly and negatively to her co-worker the whole time about personal stuff, (while I am trying to relax), but aren't they supposed to be paying attention to thier guests? when I tried to get my sandals on, I accidentally messed up the polish on one of my nails and the tech gave me a dirty look and fixed it, but glared at me through the rest of the procedure! Another family member gave me a gift certificate for all day.a $300+ value, which was not a cheap expense for this person who works hard. Since I work two jobs, it took a while for me to get to go. I called to make my appointment, only to find out that the Certificate EXPIRED a week PRIOR! GC should NOT expire! THAT IS A TOTAL RIP OFF! $300 LOST! They got thier money, and we got nothing in return. In my opinion that is theft! SYDELL! Don't you make enough money?Must you rip people off by taking money and giving NOTHING for it?!!...
