My husband had a food poisoning so I had to send him in around 9 PM. It took the nurse almost 3 hours to get some simple procedures done (including an IV) when there were not that many people waiting in line. He got very impatient when I started pacing the isle. Also it turns out that they charged $2000 + for a 3 hour stay which included a two and a half hour wait time.

I had outpatient surgery here. I was pleasantly surprised. They told me to be there at a certain time. They got me in within 10 minutes of that time, set me up and were no more than 30 minutes off the scheduled time for the surgery. I did not have to wait several hours --which as you all know-not having eaten after midnight or had the morning coffee can be really unpleasant. The staff was wonderful and best of all competent. So much better than my only other choice in this area.

Unless you like to sit for hoursssss. I suggest if you have a choice go to Jackson er. Youll be in and out. I have been twice and watched ppl with broken bones sit for 8 hours with no pain meds to be seen. Horrible wait and service.
