As a business, we have numerous HVAC units. We have used them for years. Spencers installed a new unit for us, but it hasn't been up to par. I can say that no matter what, they are on top of it. I know they get tired of my calls about the unit, but every time...someone shows up, usually that day. They are determined to be quality, and they are. They don't just sell it to you and walk off...they truly care, and want your repeat business. Brian, Darlene, and the rest of the team there have always been great to call on.

Spencer is an outstanding provider. The respond within hours to emergencies and within a couple of days to regular needs. Their servicemen are very knowledgeable, communicate everything they are going to do, and charge a reasonable rate. The "front desk" staff at Spencer are wonderful for keeping you informed and arranging for prompt and dependable service. To us, Spencer is the best and only AC/Heat company to call. You will always be pleased!!!

They came out to replace my ac and furnace and were prompt, polite, and got the job done on time with no issues at all. Jeff Spencer was a pleasure to deal with and I will recommend Spencer to anyone who needs heating and air work.

We had our Lennox furnace and outside heat exchange unit installed in our newly purchased 15-yr old home in July 2009. Our rep, Jay Strawn, gave us many options and combinations, and was careful to explain the costs and benefits of each. He never pushed the most expensive units and was always attentive of our budget being first-time homeowners. Our monthly power bills the past 2 summers have averaged the same OR LESS than our bills at our previous rental home which was 1000 sq feet SMALLER. Jay was also able to accommodate an unusual installation schedule as our closing date kept changing. We were treated with respect and Jay was a great teacher of all the confusing ratings and terms. I would do business with Spencer Heating and Air again without hesitation. 100% recommend!

I recently had an airconditioning emergency...in the middle of June...in the middle of a heat wave. Despite a week and a half wait for available repair slots, Spencer managed to fit me and my emergency in. I still don't know how for the life of me they did it!! But I think it had a lot to do with a wonderful employee named Darlene!! In me, they have truly earned a customer for life!!!

We have a 15 year old unit AC that we pray over every time we turn it on. The techs always eek out another year from it. The person who answers the phone is sometimes pleasant and sometimes not... but the techs keep me coming back.

Very professional and thorough. My job is customer service and I know a good employee when I see one. They found 4 problems with the unit that have been there since it's install in 05. I wish I'd called them sooner. One of them was very minor, time consuming and not profitable for them but he still mentioned it and fixed it. That is unusual and I never would have known it was there. The price for the work was very close to what I expected as well. A++ and I will use them again.

Customer Service and Quality work was excellent. We called and were able to get someone out to our house to assess work needed within a day or so... The assessment was very thorough, and once the issue was isolated they were very open about what needed to be done with minimal cost, etc. Thanks Guys for your flexibility, quality, etc.

We came home from vacation in June with no air conditioning. I'd heard that Spencer was the place to call for service so that's what I did. But Garrett, understanding my desperation to appease my wife, walked me through the process of elimination to determine that the problem was the switch on the wall and not the unit itself. As a result, I fixed the problem with a quick trip to the hardware store. I've not experienced that level of service when I've actually paid for it. I will definitely call Spencer for service in the future. Garrett proved to me that, with them, the customer comes first. Jeff C.

I bought a new HVAC system from Spencer Heating and Air in Feb 2008. After throughly interviewing all of the top rated companies on Kudzu, I gave Spencer a try at the suggestion of my neighbor who has used them for 30+ years. These guys really know their stuff. All of my questions were answered and their estimate to replace my entire HVAC system was by far the most professionally done: clear, detailed, and understandable. On the day of the install, 3 men showed up in uniform..looking more like engineers than "installers". The work was done exactly as we agreed and the site was left immaculate. Customer service after the install has been superb as well. I am impressed with the willingness of Spencer to accomodate picky customers like me and am thrilled to be able to wholeheartedly recommend them. Jan 2011 Update: Customer service continues to be great. After talking to Brian not getting good results with the humidifier I chose at the time of my original install, he replaced my humidifier with a higher output model at no cost to me. The new one is working great and I'll continue to recommend these guys to all I know.
