Called Staton for a service call as the up stairs air conditioner was weak, the technician said it is the down stairs that does not work, by the way.... the compressors is broken and you should buy a... new system. We were puzzled as we had no problem with the downstairs unit before the visit. We challenged how this could be the case, the technician went out and did some more work, came in and that it needed refrigant, charged an additional $80 and said it is a leak in the system..... and left, both air condition units is now working fine. Staton fixed my AC failure in one call and did a quality job. The tech they sent, Josh, was very experienced and knew what to do. Jeff also followed up after I called about an electrical problem... that occurred. Jeff came out and did a thorough inspection. I had Arc Angel Electric come out and they found the problem. When I have an emergency I want an experienced tech. If I question the work, I want the senior tech to inspect. They delivered. I will use again.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

I was a new homeowner in "Roswell" and needed to find a local company for my heating and air conditioning so I asked around the neighborhood who they recommended and they were all drawn to Staton Conditioned Air some had just started using and some have been with the company for many years so I gave them a call and was pleasantly suprised by the fast service as well as the technician who arrived at the house was pleasant seemed very well educated in his trade and not only serviced my unit very thouroughly but showed me ways to improve my efficiency as well as educating me on the proper use of my system. He was not rushed or time restrained did not try and upsell me or say that I needed something I didn't. The price for the service was reasonable for the amount of time he spent working on my system and going over the operations with me, so I am very pleased and would recommend them to anyone who needed a reliable, honest heating and air company. I definitely got my monies worth for the amount of work that was done as well as the qualified technician they sent to do the work. In these times that is hard to say but truly well deserved recognition for Staton and their "Quality" work. Thank you and you will be in my address book permantley for all my service and repairs!
Ive been with Staton for 8 years now and have had nothing but good relations the technicians they have sent out have always been very knowledgable and have always given great advice for keeping my system running at its highest efficency the system is coming up on 10 years old and still runs like the day i bought the house
They are always there when i need them, yes they do charge, but they are reasonable, i understand that a business has to charge to stay around to service me.
Staton repeatedly came out to fix the same problem with my zone controller a couple of years ago. On the 3 try they finally replace a component, but the technician wired it incorrectly so I received heat no matter whether I had the setting on heat or air. The technician who performed my spring maintenance was not prepared and did not have filters for my unit. I had to call the office 3 times to have filters brought out to my property. I had another problem with the zone controller and wiring last night. This same issue was fixed last year. The technician on call never called back so we were left without heat again. I spoke with Jeff the service manager this morning to discuss the customer service issues. He recommend I use another company. I had planned that already and asked for copies of my invoices so that I can accurately describe service issues and provide dates. Like another client I was told Staton had installed the units in my neighborhood. This was the only reason I chose them 5 years ago. Jeff advised today that the do not install for entire neighborhoods. If I had known that 5 years ago I would have never chosen this company. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
We were concerned our a/c unit was not running to peak proficiency. We called Staton H/A and inquired about a unit tune-up. At $89 they came out and informed me the units today are self contained and really there is little if anything to do. Infact the tech half- jokingly said his job was to up sell me when I asked why he was here then. Indeed he tried to get me to pay for a year contract with two service calls for $120+. The only thing that was done was he replaced my furnace filter which I do every month. I wrote a letter with my concerns for this service but they have yet to respond to date. The bottom line, I gave them $89 for absolutely nothing in return. Unfortunately I cannot recommend their services which is to bad because I support local businesses as much as I can.
Staton is the one HVAC company that I trust to give me a good price and excellent service. I started out with Staton when I bought my house 16 years ago. A few years ago, I was under the mistaken notion that they were no longer in business and I went on to use other HVAC companies. Other companies ripped me off and didn't give me the same level of service that Staton did. I was happy to find out that they were still around recently. They replaced my furnace, which is necessary to run the air conditioner. They came out and gave me an estimate that was $1000 LESS than any other company gave me to replace the furnace and when I received the invoice, it matched the estimate to the penny. They were under alot of pressure as they were in high demand during this hot time of year, but they were here in a timely manner and took care of my problem. I highly recommend them.
I have been useing them now for 12 years and the service is still great. They remain loyal to there contract customers.
I purchased a home in which Staton had installed the HVAC systems approximately three years before. When I realized that one of the A/C units was not working properly, I contacted the company to arrange for a service call and I was told that no Technicians would be available to come to my home to service the unit for over a month. WTF is with that???
STATON CONDITIONED AIR SERVICES DOES NOT AND HAS NEVER INSTALLED SYSTEMS IN NEW HOUSES. WE WERE PAID BY THE INSTALLING COMPANY TO WARRANTY THE SYSTEMS FOR A PERIOD OF 1 YEAR AFTER CLOSING. WE PROVIDED THIS SERVICE. AFTER THE 1 YEAR WAS UP THIS CUSTOMER WAS SENT A LETTER EXPLAINING HIS WARRANTY WAS UP, AND EXPLAINED TO HIM THE IMPORTANCE OF PURCHASEING A SERVICE AGREEMENT. HE CHOSE NOT TO. NOW THAT IT IS HOT WE PROVIDE OUR WARRANTY AND CONTRACT CUSTOMERS WITH THE PRIORITY SERVICE THEY DESERVE. HE NEEDS TO GO LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND PUT THE BLAME WHERE IT REALLY LAYS. NOT ON US. CHECK THE NORTH FULTON AND GWINNETT HOME REPORTS. AND AS FORSET GUMP WOULD SAY "THATS ALL I'VE TO SAY ABOUT THAT"
The service is wonderful, The tech was able explain everything perfectly and helped me resolve my a/c problems and I'm confident with there work. If I could say one thing about this company It would be that there honesty is unparalleled. the tech could have easily charged much more and I wouldn't have known any difference. I have used many different air-condition company's in the past. But I'll never use anyone but Staton.
