Especially if you have All State as your insurance, you will be presented with Sterling as an option. Go elsewhere. There are a couple much better options within just 1-2 miles from Sterling. To fix my bumper they first said they needed three days. I made an appointment and showed up. I was then informed that it will actually require a 1.5 - 2 weeks . . . . for a bumper! I took it to two other shops, both of whom could take care of it in less than three days for the same.

I had to have my car towed there as it was recommened by Allstate and had no other option on a Sunday night. I was a little worried after reading the reviews here but I am extremely happy to say they proved all those reviews wrong. I grew up in a family of mechanics also and was very worried that I would get screwed over because they were owned by Allstate but I had nothing but the best customer service and repair. They texted me everyday sometimes twice a day to let me know the status of my car. I got a phone call every other day keeping me updated. They estimated my repair work 3 weeks (had very serious damage and needed a lot of parts ordered) I actually got my car back a few days early. I didn't have any quality issues whatsoever everything was repaired. My car is like a brand new car. They did a supreme job and I would gladly recommened to anyone. I think I found my new repair shop in Atlanta.

Took my car to Sterling, as I'd had a previous vehicle fixed there with great satisfaction and because it was close to home. This was over 5 years ago but I thought I'd give them a go again. Big mistake! My car was rear ended by an uninsured driver. It was going to take them 2 weeks to fix it and I said OK. They under estimated the time and I ended up having another week go by before they called to say it was done. So, I go to pick it up and I was appalled. The car was in worse shape than when it went in! Seriously! The rear bumper had been replaced and the trim on the bumper had not even been popped back in, I had to do this myself. Then I notice that the bumper is not even level. I point this out and they take it back into the shop to "fix" it. It comes back out and it's no better. I ended up reinstalling the bumper and all the trim pieces myself the correct way. I open the car and there are black marks all over my white headliner and trim where the "technician" had removed the headliner to work on the rear tailgate struts that were damaged in the accident. Then I notice that all inside the car, there is white residue all over the inside. They didn't even bother to clean it up. Claimed they didn't do it. BS! Long story short, they broke multiple pieces of trim on my car, claimed they didn't do it, the "detailer" completely damaged my paint by not knowing how to use an orbital buffer. Ruined my paint job!!!!! Never do business with this company!!!

I was involved in a front end collision. My insurance company referred me to Sterling for the repairs. After my accident, my car shook while driving, had problems accelerating, started to smoke, had its Check Engine light on. Before they would look at my vehicle, I had to sign a consent form which would allow them to repair my vehicle. Sterling gave me a time frame of about a week and a half to finish the repairs. 23 days later I finally get my car back. I got barely 3 miles down the road before my car started up with its old tricks. I brought it back and it was taken to a mechanic (apparently, for the first time) who "did a tune-up" and I got the car back. They afterwards tell me that my engine problems were not caused by the accident, and they would not be covering the repair. Now my car is no better than it was a month ago, and I was out $500 for my deductible, and about $200 in rental car fees. The mechanical issues I am having are my primary concern, and I do not believe that Sterling should have accepted the car and led me to believe that they would evaluate and possibly repair my engine troubles, when they did not even send it to a mechanic until my second time in... Although the GM was quick to apologize on behalf of the staff's actions, he said that he felt that he had come to the point where Sterling could not do any more. I really could care less about the cosmetics, but it's worrisome to drive and I don't know if/when it will break down again...

After keeping our car (which had been damaged when it was stolen) for several weeks, Sterling insisted we pick it up despite the fact that they had not fixed basics such as broken mirrors, tail lights, etc., much less the mangled center console or replacement stereo they were supposed to have put in. What did they do during their nearly two months with our car? Replaced one useless four-inch piece of cracked plastic around the mirror adjustment knob (but didn't fix the knob itself so that it would function) and charged us more than $300. What a scam.

The staff were super, speedy, and knew their job. Dana and Merideth treated me like a "real" customer. Nice work on my car also. They kept me informed regularly on the completion date. Pick up was a breeze. Thanks guys!

I've had body work done at other places and the one thing you can always count on is that it will NEVER be ready when they say it will be. Well, my experiences at Sterling have been the opposite. My car has always been ready on or before the date promised. They are clean, friendly and seem to have a high standard for customer satisfaction. My insurance company recommended them and I have sent others there who have also been impressed with their service and the work they do. It's nice to have a body shop where you don't get jerked around.

I took my car there after an accident. They guaranteed to have it done in 3 weeks, but it ended up being over 4. The day before their guaranteed finish date, they said it would be ready on time, but then they called back the next day and said that they had painted it the wrong color, and I would have to wait several more days. While they did eventually pay for my rental car (as they had agreed to do for that extra week), it took me 3 months of phone calls (which they seldom returned) to get them to finally reimburse me. I hear that they are now under new management, but I still wouldn't go back.

I thought most of the really good body shops were way outside the perimeter until I found this one.great service and competetive rates too.

Took my wife's car over there to have some things smoothed out. I was surprised to see such a nice and professional facility. The folks there are professional as well. The work done was terrific.

Sterling is owned by Allstate, which made me skeptical at first. But I ended up going with them and I was pleased with the results. They finished my car a bit earlier than I was originally quoted so that was good. Also, their facility was fairly easy to find, very clean and their employees were easy to deal with.
