This is not Green Acres. This is Rural Realism. From the edge of insanity, in the city, to humorous happenstance with coyotes, snakes, spiders, a barn and a cranky old mare in the middle of everywhere; first-time writer, and self-taught artist, Tonya R. Paddock fought her way through OCD, chronic depression, anxiety and an undertow of antagonists, finding refuge in an old farmhouse near Superior, Nebraska.
With two children and a husband, she traded the stress of a nursing career.. for the uncertainties of rural living, art and pursuing an interest in writing through the local publishing company, where, Meanwhile, Back at the Ranch began.
