I am shocked by the two negative reviews I have read here. Dr. Felcher has been my dentist for 20 years and I've had the same hygienist for at least 10. I have always used dental insurance and even though he is not a network provider, my fees have not been out of the ordinary. The staff is always cordial and accommodating and Dr. Felcher himself is never other than completely professional with me. He will make suggestions of things I may want to have done, but it is always my decision to make. I have never been pressured into having anything done, and in fact, asked for one procedure that he never even brought up. Don't let a couple of obviously disgruntled patients turn you off Dr. Felcher. I would recommend him to anyone, otherwise he would not have been my dentist for so long.

Both myself and my wife went to Dr. Felcher based solely on the recommendation of an acquaintance and had various procedures performed over the course of about one year. We both became fed up with the office staff and Dr. Felcher. I was told I needed a crown replaced, which I allowed them to perform. I am now sure that this was not a necessary procedure and it was performed just to milk me for money. My wife had more severe problems with Dr. Felcher, and the work he performed had to be corrected by another dentist. I personally went to Dr. Felcher's office to obtain my wife's x-rays for the other dentist, and they were too dark to even read, which he and his office staff explained could not be read. My question is, then why was she charged for them to begin with if they were of no use???? I also agree with the assessment of the front desk assistant. She is extremely rude and pushy. I will never go to Dr. Felcher again and recommend to anyone to not use this dentist.

I would not recommend Dr. Felcher's office to anyone! The office staff is courteous enough and the office appears to be clean, but they are extremely pushy and very expensive. In fact, I would say that Dr. Felcher is way over priced! If you use him, be prepared for your mouth to be a continuous work in progress! I've used several dentist over the past 20 years and I have never been to one who could find so much 'absolutely necessary' work that needs to be done! I was not at all happy with the extreme expense compared to other dentist in the area and the 'car salesman' type of atmosphere, so I moved on.

Stockbridge Dental Group needs to get their stuff together. I have been going there for about 2 years, and more times than not I have been disappointed in their services. First appointment my husband and I go for cleanings. They try to add all these extra charges for a simple cleaning. Second visit, again a routine cleaning I scheduled 6 months in advance, they turn me away and refuse to clean my teeth because of a cold sore on my lip, like I knew that would be there. Getting aggravated with this staff at this point, I give them one more chance. Routine cleaning scheduled, they call me to try and move my appointment, I disagree and end up canceling my scheduled appt. resulting in a $40 penalty fee. There are plenty of dentists in Stockbridge and McDonough, my advice, avoid this one.

Great looking office, lots of personnel, really friendly and that is where it stops. I went in for a simple cleaning and exam, and then it happened. I was bombarded with you need this that and another thing. Things that you're insurance will not cover. The dental assistances are really sales people that try to sell one thing after another. I kid you not but, a finance person came to me why I was in the chair to set up finance options. They would even assist me in getting a loan, because my insurance was not covering the $1900 +. I got the exam did not get the deep cleaning $$$, and left with my wallet. I will be looking for another dentist. Also before you set in the chair you sign paperwork that you will not take them to court, what is that all about?

First of all I found out about this place through Kudzu.com I read the glowing review and saw their website and I was hooked. I made an appointment and was excited about going. Well I get there 30 mins early and I have to wait 2 freaking hours to get my teeth clean. Then they come out and get me and I meet the dentist. He is questioning me because I live in Fayetteville and want to have dental work done in Stockbridge. What is the big freaking deal?? Then finally the cleaning gets underway. On their website they focus on gental cleaning the use of headphones and realxation. All of that is a lie. The lady cleaning my teath didn't care that I was in pain. Lucky for me I had some headphones in my purse so I got to use them. The cleaning lasted 10 minutes. Usually when I go to my other dentist his cleanings are 20 minutes and my teeth feel brand new afterwards. My teeth felt like crap after I had my cleaning here. Also when I left they slapped me with an additional 70 bucks saying that my insurance wouldn't cover it. I know why they wouldn't cover it now because the freaking cleaning was 450.00 This dentist is a rip off. Go somewhere else if you can. Also the front desk lady I think her name is Denise what a horrible beast. She belongs in a school cafteria with her attitude. I will never go back here again!

Who ever looks forward to a visit to the dentist! this is the best health care experience I have ever had. The office is lovely and made me feel comfortable from the minute I walked in. From the receptionist to the dentist every person was warm, caring and professional. Every step of the way, they explained exactly what they were doing. They offered me a choice of distractions-tv or music-sunglassses to protect my eyes from the bright light. Dr Felcher was calm and reassuring and he really paid attention to all of my needs. It really was an extraordinary experience. I reccommend this dentist without reservation to anyone in need of care.
