The Stockton Dermatology office is very inviting. I felt the staff was efficient and did their job well. While I did see the Nurse Practitioner, it was by choice and I was very satisfied with my overall medical treatment. Also, the office handled my complex insurance situation perfectly and for once I had no issues. I plan on returning.

You do NOT see the Dr. ever, even when requested. PA's only. The billing office is incompetent doesn't follow up on insurances. Staff is rude. Waiting for PA is 45 minutes minimum and maximum visit time is 5 min. They charge $40 for no-show appt but doesn't do reminder calls when appt is made 6 months in advance.

My appointment was at 9:45 but had to be there at 9:15 for paperwork. I got there at 9:10, finished my paperwork by 9:30 and waited until 10:00 a little frustrated since the office staff were sitting around talking. I noticed one looked over (I was the only one waiting) and called the PA. I didn't see the doctor but the PA was nice enough and seemed to be very knowledgeable.

I attempted to schedule an appointment with their office 10/29/07 and was told that it would be 4 months before I could be seen by a medial assistant. If I wanted to see a doctor, it would be almost ten months. I'm not sure what patient's would want to wait almost a year to be seen by a physician. Does not appear to be a business that is concerned about customer service.

I've been going to Stockton dermatology for over a year now the reception staff is not very friendly, they're not rude but they're also not friendly. My dermatologist only sees me for about 10 minutes (if that). It all feels very rushed, they don't take the time to analyze your skin, and they just prescribe pills after pills after pills as if they pick it out of a hat. I am very unhappy having spent hundreds of dollars on visits and medication. I then asked to see Toni Stockton so she can analyze my skin and prescribe me something (she's suppose to be the best dermatologist in the state) apparently you have to make an appointment 6 months in advance. The doctors are really nice but don't really seem to care.
