Let down by Service Department, 12/14/2012

On August 22, 2012 I took my 2006 Lexus GS300 to Stonecrest Toyota (7969 Mall Pkwy Lithonia, Ga) for an oil change and front brake service. When I picked up my vehicle and reviewed my paperwork from... the service writer I noticed on the Multipoint Inspection Sheet that the technician filled out had an error. It still had my front brake lining number @ 3mm on both left and right front brakes. This raised my suspicion so I questioned the service writer asking him if my brakes were even done. The service writer, without even checking with the technician, quickly changed the numbers on the sheet to 12mm. After I payed for my services and left the dealership my oil light came on in my car immeidately . I informed my husband and he said he would reset the light with no problem due to the technician not reseting the oil light. 4 months after the oil change the oil shield was dragging under my car. At this point we had to take the oil shield off because is kept getting caught under my car and we didn't know hold long it had been dragging. When I took my vehicle into Lexus they stated to me that if the screws were not tightened and it can cause the panel to hang. When I took my vehicle back to Stonecrest Toyota and spoke to the Service Manager Dennis I told him about all 3 incidents that occurred surrounding the oil change. Dennis quickly dismissed all claims.

Deceitful, 9/10/2012

My daughter had work done on her 4Runner last year at this location. This year my son-in-law takes the truck because of a rattling heard and is told the truck needs work(same work done last year!!)... All fluids gone and wires switched after he gets the truck back and Stonecrest says it was not done at their establishment. I guess my daughter and son-in-law would sabatoge themselves. Use another facility for service related needs!!!

Bait-n-Switch

WASTED more than a week on a internet/long distance deal with these guys!!! This would have been our 3rd purchase from what used to be Conyers Toyota. All of the I's were dotted T's crossed prior to arrival including the purchase price, payment, and financing. The paperwork was said to be "ready for signing" and that our visit would be merely a "formality". Upon arrival, it became quickly apparent that the prior weeks effort in supplying them with all of the needed information to procure financing had NOT been completed, let alone even submitted! We were assured, promised, and guaranteed that our 125 mile one way trip would not be in vain that "they had everything ready for our arrival." Needless to say, the offer wasn't even close to that promised and we left (ironic as we had informed them that we would if anything was different) and will NOT be purchasing from them & would highly recommend others to reconsider using this dealership. Our calls have not been returned and the only explanation offered was from our salesman who was the proverbial mushroom.Sad because our previous experiences were very pleasant. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! BAIT N SWITCH

Manipulative and dishonest sales tactics

I first visited Stonecrest Toyota to test drive a RAV4, explained I was deciding what to buy and, once deciding, would negotiate and agree on everything by phone, and only return to the dealership to sign papers and drive away. No problem. Two days later, talked to the salesman, said I was still getting prices, but if he'd match my best price and add a $400 option I'd buy that night. I was assured that all was agreed on and came into the dealer. Once there, was showed "the" car, which didn't have the option. When I asked about it, I was taken to the sales manager - and the salesman disappeared - I was told that he had to suddenly "go on a delivery" (in the middle of a sale - right!). The sales manager said he knew nothing about the option and couldn't add it for that price. I explained that this was not what the salesman agreed to, thanked him for his time and left. Next day, another manager called me and acted like he knew nothing of our being there the night before. In my opinion, I was dealt with dishonestly and Stonecrest Toyota showed questionable business practices.
