During the coldest week of the year, my HVAC went out. My warranty company hired these guys to come fix it. While they came out the same day, they couldn't fix the problem and had no understanding of the Nest thermostat system. They left at 3:30 that day and told me their manager would call my warranty company the next morning about it, leaving me without heat. The warranty company tried to get in touch with them to no avail. They finally called the warranty company at the close of business the next day leaving me with no time to schedule a new company to fix it until the next morning (they finally admitted they couldn't). They left me without heat for an additional 44 hours due to their lack of communication and my pipes froze and burst costing me even more money. They did not know what they were doing and their customer service was horrible. Stay away!!!

After 4 different visits from this company to diagnose my problem (through 2-10 home warranty), this company wanted to replace my compressor. I demanded another company come out and give a second opinion. Thankfully I did this, because it wasn't the compressor at all...it was something totally unrelated!!! worst customer service, the receptionist is rude and unsympathetic!

I couldn't even get past the receptionist who claimed the Schedulers were busy scheduling appointments and could not tell me when my appointment would be...this is after 3 inquiries over a 5 hour period about my work order. In all fairness, the service and value rating is an estimate, because I have not been serviced yet but the post required a rating...I gave them the benefit of the doubt.

I called 2-10 home warranty to have someone come fix my AC. They assigned Strong Heating and Air (now renamed to Solution Heating and Air) as our service provider. At first I was extremely apprehensive in having them come out after reading the reviews on here. I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism of the tech who came out, Marco. Although he arrived almost 40 minutes later than expected, he was able to address the issue and fix it within 30 minutes. Other than being late, the service was excellent!

We have a home warranty and realized late on Tuesday that the AC on the main level was not working at all. We called the warranty people and opened a claim. By 8:30 AM the next day, Strong's called and said they would be there by 12:00. The technician showed up at approximately 11:00 AM and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was very thorough and actually found the issue was with the blower and fixed it on the spot. As I said, GREAT service and knowledge!!!

Customer Service, what CS!!!!! No one calls, you have to call them. It was a home warranty issue. They took 4 more days then they promised and then did not even fix the issue. Really not sure how they can still be dispatched out due to all the reviews left. I bet they have never even tried to apply with the BBB!!!!! Stay away at all cost.

Like almost everyone else on here, I used American Home Shield who contracts with Strong H&A. This company is VERY unprofessional: they never returned my calls, and they installed the equipment wrong until I had to give up and call someone else. And worst of all, they lie and scam you into work you don't need. I had my AC condensor cleaned by a top-rate professional 6 weeks before my compressor blew out, and they tried to tell me it was because my condensor was dirty which would cost me three times the industry standard for them to clean. American Home Shield will side with the contractor so there's no use arguing. Simply put, ask American Home Shield to use another contractor from the start. They will use someone else if you ask, but you have to pay the $50 service fee for each new contractor. Just save yourself the money, time, and self-respect and DEMAND someone else!

They installed a new unit in September after American home shield agreed to replace the unit(this took 3 yrs). The next day the unit was broke and leaking freon. They came back out the next day and recharged the unit and said there was no leak. They have been out 3 times since and the unit is not working. AHS then sent out another company who refused to repair the system stating that it was not up to code and installed incorrectly. I wold NOT recommend this company to my enemy or american home shield for that matter. I have contacted the local news stations and clark howard to see if I can get any help. I'll probably end up having to pay out of pocket to get my new piece of junk unit working. NOTHING GOOD ABOUT WITHER COMPANY!!!!!

Week One - A.C. Died and 2-10 assign these idiots. First a part which they forgot to write the model, so they said to replace the whole Air Handler with out of pocket cost on a 9 year old AC. Today they replace the unit just to say...oh yeah you have a leap in the coils in the outside compressor. I am another victim of misdiagnose.

After calling American Home Shield and getting the notice that the service call would go to Strong I, of course, looked to find what I could about them. Needless to say, the reviews on Kudzu had me wondering what I had gotten myself into. The call from Strong came only after AHS checked in with us, but after that everything went just fine. The office staff person was responsive and polite, they scheduled a technician for the next day, the technician showed up during the estimated window, was polite and professional, replaced the burned-out part, added freon (I guess that's what it is), waited long enough to take readings to see the temp was dropping, and was on his way. That's exactly what I am paying for, so no complaints here. Assuming nothing breaks/burns/fails in the next 48 hours, I have no complaints. Maybe I got the one good apple?

Strong Heating and Air was assigned to me by my home owner's insurance company. First, they never called me to set up an appointment. A week went by so I called them. Customer service was not that great, rep seemed to have an attitude. The tech that came out was polite but I question his knowledge. He tried to tell me that there was no filter in my unit, when I knew there was because I had put one in like a week before. I told him to show me, and low and behold there was a filter there just like I said. All the tech did was turn the system on and off and then said that he didn't see anything wrong with it. A few days later my AC problems got even worse, I didn't want to deal with this company again so I had another (real) technician come out and there were multiple problems with my system which then got fixed. I would never use Strong Heating and Air again. I question their knowledge and if they are even licensed. They don't even have business cards or have their business name and Georgia Restoration number on their invoiced.

I have a home warranty with American Home Security, which covers my air conditioner. My air went out a month ago they called Strong heating and Air and each time they came out they did something and the air would come on and work for one day!! I decided to file a complaint with the courts to get Amer Home Shield and Strong to fix my air. I have spent over $1,000 and still today no air. Finally Amer Home Shield says they are sending out another company. Please do not even let Strong Air and Heating in your home. I feel they are not knowledgable nor posses good ethics. It has taken over four tries and still they have no idea what they are doing...Poor, Poor, horrible service. I even spoke with the owner ha..ha..ha what a laugh.

I come home from work on a Monday. My AC is not working, house is almost 90 degrees. Call my home warrenty, and they give the work order to this company. They have 24 hours to call me to set up appt. I tried to call them Monday night and Tues morning as I needed AC fixed sooner rather than later due to children/animals in house. Could never get them on the phone. After seeing online reviews, I ended up cancelling the order, got a company outside of the warrenty to come within 2 hours and fix problem for very reasonable price Tuesday afternoon. Then, on Thursday afternoon, 72 hours later, this company calls and leaves a msg to set up a service visit. Having seen the reviews, I wanted to make sure they knew order was cancelled and that there was NO service fee coming their way....again, could not get anyone on the phone for most of the morning. When I finally did, I couldn't understand 80% of what she said. I am SO glad that I dodged a bullet by not letting this company come to my house. Also filed a complaint with warrenty company re: the quality of contractors that they are using.
