This place is a dump. The owner is very nice but, overall, the place is old and dirty. Extremely dirty. I don't mind the older cardio equipment but, they ALL really need to be serviced and it is hotter in the gym than it is outside. Yay for summer at this gym! A locker door in the ladies locker room fell off of the hinges and hit me in the head cutting a hole in the top. I went to the front desk and when I told the man behind the counter his exact words were "I'll fix it. Thanks for not sueing us" and then he looked away and went back to what he was doing. I would think they would feel bad but, not so much.

Our whole team works out at this gym and when all 40 of us are working out together, you can't even tell-- this place is huge and they have a ton of machines, free weighs and even mats for stretching or aerobics. The staff wonders through helping spot or encourage... not a gym like any other I've ever been to.

Stroud's is the best gym. The staff is so friendly and you are spoken to by name, everytime you walk in the door. They have great equipment and reasonable rates. You don't even have to sign a contract.

Stroud's is a great place to get in a workout without feeling intimidated. The trainers make you feel comfortable throughout your whole experience. There are, also, programs for all ages including silver sneakers and karate lessons.

this place is very small and privatly owned. Therefore making you feel more comfortable the trainers they here are very helpful and seem to know what they are talking about. Also offer a few classes that can really help you get back in shape.

If you want a place to work out where you don't have to worry about whether your shirt matches your shorts and your mp3 player...this is the place for you. Great equipment, great facilities, and you don't ever need to feel intimidated. This place is all about the exercise.
Stroud's has the most friendly staff around. When you walk in, someone always greets you. The equipment is in good working condition. You can always find someone to spot you when lifting weights.
