Called and made an appointment a week in advance. I also told them I had long thick hair. Although I was a new customer I was made to feel like an old friend the minute I walked through the door.... This place is very elegant, I was impressed! The stylist listened to what I wanted and we talked about the extra time needed and the extra cost. I am used to this as other salons do the same. By the end of my appointment I felt like a new woman. Great Salon!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
I wanted to treat myself to a beauty day, so i chose Studio Donna because of the location. I was greeted by the nice girls at the desk, i started with Highlights and a Haircut, which i booked with... the 20% off e-mail. My stylist was i think Desirae she was soooo Freak'n Funny. I Finished my beauty day with a Spa Pedicure with Kayleigh that was on special, It was so relaxing i loved it! I think its cool that they take into consideration with the economy low that any discount can help.\r I refer all my friends in to Studio Donna, and i also get $5.00 off for every person i bring in. I was very happy to call and get an appointment that very afternoon...now I know why they had space available.I politely asked how much the partial foil would be and was quoted a price. I mentioned that I had very long thick hair and to make sure there was enough time to dry it. The person making the appointment assured me there was plenty of time.I got to the salon and things were fine. I got the color done and it seemed that I was the last person there. And they started shutting off back lights and sweeping. I could tell the owner WANTED TO LEAVE. Once I looked at my hair there were HUGE chunks not highlighted when I specifically asked for very natural looking highlights. When I kindly pointed these spots out to the stylist said ""I think it looks good"" and walked away. I got to the counter only to be charged $50 over the price I was given over the phone. When I asked why she said ""you have so much hair they had to take extra time and the girl that did your hair has been here for a while."" THIS IS ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. I told the person on the phone that I had long hair and it would take extra time and she KNEW what person she was booking me with so why would she have given me a price so incorrect??? I have been getting my hair done in Seattle for years and this has never been an issue. I would never again set foot in this terribly run establishment.

I'm was a new customer to the salon just this week. I was greeted with a smile upon entering and my color and cut was stunning! Good to know Everett has a quality place to go...

I've been using Studio Donna as my only hair style salon for many years. I've consistently been satisfied with both color service and styling. I truly feel that they care that I am satisfied with the results of their service. \r\rI've also been in their spa for esthetician work and felt that I received the highest quality work along with that pampering touch.\r\rIt is a beautiful salon and a relaxing, friendly atmosphere. I would unconditionally recommend them to anyone.

I have never in my entire life had someone be as rude to me as Donna herself. My stylist went into the back when I went there to get a cut and color and came back out with the elusive Ms. Donna herself in order to tell me that I had so much hair they would have to charge me for 2 sessions. I was completely shocked, as I've been there before (though years ago) and expressed that I thought it was outrageous. The lovely owner told me that I should get it done somewhere else then (really amazing customer service, no?) if I really thought that I could get it done for less than $200, cut not included. After informing her that I could get it done for less at a better salon, and getting up, she felt the need to follow me to the door saying ""just let me say"" at which point I cut her off. Needless to say, I walked out and have not been back. Nor would I ever waste my time going there again.

This salon is so amazing! All of the girls who work there are very very professional. They all listen to what you need and have great communication. Every time I go I feel so beautiful when I leave. I would recommend Megan or Randa. My mom and her coworkers get there hair done by Brianna and they really like there hair also. I tell everyone I know about the salon! Great place!!!!!

My 2 daughter are in their 20's. I have gone to this salon & the same stylist for almost 2 years. There is a young stylist there Ran** she needs training! Aveda trains them. My daughters went to her at different times First daughter went for color, & a cut, Ran** asked another stylist about the color took forever she ran over into her next appt. she sent her to the stylist who helped with the color got a wonderful cut, color was ok, 2nd daughter's experience was a living nightmare! Ran** was slow & never got my daughters hair even on the sides she ran long on her HAIR CUT ONLY Donna the owner came and told her that her next appt was there. Donna says she would finish it we were happy & felt all would be ok she would make sure she did a good job she was rude by this time my daughter is about to cry and scream at the same time.Donna's attitude was horrible! she goes to pay they have added an extra $20, extra time! Donna could care less if you come back..she thinks she is above clientele and didn't need our business...Well, my daughters wont EVER GO BACK! RUDE just plain rude!
Atmosphere like a spa that caters to you. Having my eyebrows waxed is a relaxing pleasure rather than a painful procedure.

It was horrible, the stylists have no experience, talk to you like your mentally disabled, and give you the wrong hair color and don't care that your unhappy. They charge you by the hour and don't know what you are doing. I didn't mind the price if my hair was done the right way and the way I wanted at that price ($235). First of all when you call they ask you for a credit card for an appointment time which is unnecessary in the first place, sorry your not that great or that busy. It all went down hill from the moment I walked in. I had to wait for 15 minutes pass my scheduled appointment time to finally get taken back to the stylist's station. \r(They had horrible social skills and were unpleasant.) I was in the salon for three hours, they were very slow and make you wait forever in their ""Heat Room"" ( a small, dim room with magazines and hair dryers for waiting between coloring), sitting there for no reason (when you don't even use the hair dryers) while the stylists talk to each other outside the room and leave you waiting in there for 15 minutes +. Then when they wash your hair, they scoiled your hair with boiling hot water and don't ask if the waters is too hot. The stylists don't know what they are doing, they ask each other how to do things like its their first hair cut and dye. I went in asking for lighter blonde hair (all over color) when my hair is naturally blonde, I just wanted it a lighter blonde and I walked out with reddish light brown hair, different colors through out the hair, light underneath, dark on top. In total, I spent $235 for the wrong hair color (with different spots of colors) and a unpleasant experience. I protested the price and the fact I didn't like it and they didn't do anything. I told the owner, Donna, I would never go there again and she didn't care, she has no care for her customers. They are horrible, nice building, horrible owner and staff. Not worth $45 a hair cut and $160 for hair coloring. Don't go here!

Not sure why others have had bad experiences. I've been to Studio Donna on several occasions and had the pleasure of getting my hair cut by numerous different people. All have been kind and all have left me with a great cut. My schedule is very busy and yet Studio Donna's staff goes out of their way to accommodate me on short notice often finding time for me the same day I call. Keep up the great work!

Studio Donna looks attractive and professional, and my interaction with the employees was mostly favorable, but I have some serious reservations. The woman who was my colorist was 1/2 hour late, then took ages mixing the product; I had been there 45 minutes before anything happened beyond putting on the smock and sitting in the chair. Tough when you're short on time.\rI was given a complimentary hand massage, which was thoughtful but sort of weird.\rWhen I came into the salon, my name was up on a readerboard in the entrance as a ""new customer"" to be welcomed -- exactly like a hotel advertising its conventions of the day. A little more public than most of us would like, I think.\rThe single most annoying thing was being forced to pay for the appointment in advance with a credit card, with a 48-hour cancellation policy. My appt. was for a Tuesday, and the salon is closed Sun/Mon, so if I had needed to cancel, I would have to have told them (I guess?) by Saturday. This is tough on people whose schedule changes unexpectedly.

I went awhile ago for the first time to get my eyebrows waxed and hair cut. The esthitician was fabulous, did a wonderful job and was very nice. Unfortunately the woman who cut my hair ( won't name names ) had horrible customer service. She was extremely rough , tugging my hair and getting water in my ears when washing. She made it obvious she didn't want to be working with my hair. ( I have long and extremely thick hair )

This salon looks so elegant I couldn't believe my eyes. Form my very first phone conversation to schedule an appointment I knew I was in store for something out of the ordinary. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted as though I was an old friend. I was then given a tour of the entire salon and introduced to all the stylists and then when I was shown the spa I was given a free hand treatment. I was a little scared about having someone I didn't know do my hair, but when I saw so many others getting great hairdos I felt so much better. My stylist was really friendly and knew what she was doing because my haircut was the best I'd ever had! All in all one of the finest salon's I've been to and the customer service was excellent.

My visit to Studio Donna was absolute hell. The price was not an issue, but the staff members were. I've gotten much better customer service from other high end salons. Many of the workers here have forgotten the little fact that they cut hair for a living and possibly for the rest of their lives. So spare me the rude and snobbish act.
