I have been attending classes since March 2012. I started out as a complete novice & the instructors worked closely with me to help me get up to speed so I could participate in Tower & Reformer classes. Classes are challenging & instructors work with me if I need modifications.

After 3+ years of regular classes, I'm true believer in Pilates method & Studio Lotus staff of experts. My lower back (degenerative disc) has improved amazingly with 2 classes per week. Key is staff's attention to my condition at the beginning of each session, then focus on correct exercises & movements during the session. My overall quality of life has improved dramatically, and its always fun! Can't beat that!

About a year after I started working out at SL, I went for my annual physical and the doctor was amazed to see that, at age 44, I measured 1/4" taller. And the year following that, I measured another 1/4" taller still -- all thanks to strengthening my core at SL. My doctor said it's extremely rare to see people getting taller as they near age 50 and to "keep up the good work"! The other thing I've loved about working out at SL is that it's great for people with prior injuries. I have creaky knees and lots of scar tissue from a 20-year-old shoulder injury, so a big concern for me was finding a good workout that didn't cause further harm. At the beginning of each class, the SL instructors ask if anything is bothering you and they are very careful to structure the workout around your specific needs and issues. Finally, I have sleep apnea and have repeatedly noted over the past 5 years that it gets worse whenever I cut back on my Pilates workouts. Much of the class actually helps strengthen the neck, and apparently that helps to reduce sleep apnea -- definitely an unexpected benefit! I've been working out at SL for about 5 years now, and I plan to continue with Pilates for the rest of my life. This is a great place to get a safe and effective workout for those of us who are 40 years and older. If you stick with it for at least 3 classes, you'll be hooked. I was!

The instructors are attentive and very well trained. This studio has a warm, friendly vibe. Their flexible scheduling and range of levels is just the best. I have been to several other studios over the ten plus years I have taken pilates instruction and this one is my absolute favorite.

The absolute best Power Pilates studio in Atlanta. Private, semi, group classes. Tower, reformer and mat. Also offers Kettlebells and Beyond Barre training. Every instructor is professional, engaging and CHALLENGING! Just when you think you may have just about mastered something- wrong! Constantly changing, improving and modifying classes to meet the needs of the client.

I love Studio Lotus at Atlanta Ballet! All the instructors are amazing and very attentive - always making sure you are in the correct form. They are also very welcoming and the atmosphere is great! I had two major surgeries on my femurs and tibias (had to wear external fixators for 6 months on both legs) so coming here has really helped me strengthen my muscles and improve my bone density. I had a bone density scan done recently and I was up 17%! I have noticed a major difference in my body, strength and flexibility since I started coming here almost 5 months ago. I've tried a lot of different exercise programs, gym memberships, even gym equipment that I have at my house, but Pilates, Kettlebells and Redcord are the workouts that I've stuck with and look forward too! I highly recommend Studio Lotus!

I have been going Studio Lotus for a few months now and LOVE it. I have done Pilates (Private and classes), red cord and kettlebells. The one thing that always kept me from wanting to try it out was the scheduling conflicts, however you get to make your own schedule. So if you look over the classes and you don't see times that work for your schedule you just need to call! All the instructors are awesome and different so you never get the same workout twice. The workouts are fun but still a great workout. If you haven't tried it out you must try it at least once. Your first PRIVATE session is only $35. Definitely worth it!!!!

I started at Studio Lotus in preparation for my wedding, and the results have been so good that I've continued going. After years of traditional gym memberships and even personal training and no results, I was amazed at the positive impact pilates had. Even more important, Studio Lotus is a wonderfully warm environment, and I love chatting with the instructors who I've gotten to know. Like Cheers, at Studio Lotus, everyone knows your name, and they always remember what's going on in your life and with your body. For those afraid of the torture like contraptions used in pilates, Studio Lotus will make you feel comfortable with tailored, low pressure instruction. I can't recommend Studio Lotus enough!

I have enjoyed quality training from Studio Lotus at Atlanta Ballet for several years. I have tried other studios with special offers or because the location is closer to my home, but I always come back. Once you have had the best you can't deny it. The instruction I recieve at Studio Lotus is outstanding. I get meaningful cues for my body from caring and knowledgeable staff. If you have never tried classical Pilates then Studio Lotus is a great place to start. They have a great Certification Program as well.

I discovered Studio Lotus on Powers Ferry Road when I was taking Pilates in Buckhead and wishing for a studio in E. Cobb. For 4 years now, I have been impressed by the excellent classes and reasonable prices at Studio Lotus. The instructors have patiently helped me recover from many injuries over the years. I sincerely recommend it!

When I randomly picked this pilates studio 2 years ago when I had ZERO pilates experience, I had no idea that I had lucked out and picked THE BEST pilates studio in the Atlanta area! The staff is knowledgeable and very focused on making certain that we all maintain form at all times. Their focus on the tiny details makes a huge difference in results. I highly recommend them!

I started at the Marietta location about 6 months ago. I had absolutely no experience in pilates. They made me feel very welcome. The atmosphere is very relaxing, quiet and friendly. I feel like the two women I have worked with, Nancy and Joyce, are my friends now as well as instructors. I started out doing individual sessions which I think helped train me for the mat class, which now I take weekly. The weekly mat class is fun but challenging, and I learn new things every week. I highly recommend this studio for anyone in pilates, but speaking for beginners, you won't feel intimidated at all. It's also a very clean studio with fresh colored walls and organized equipment. I think the nice environment helps the experience.

I have been going to studio lotus for nearly one year - this is probably the longest I have stuck with any kind of "exercise" program - and I love it, plan my week around my sessions! The instructors are fantastic - knowledgable, professional and kind, the studio is perfectly equipped and the perfect size - you don't get lost in the crowd. In fact, the people who work there actually take the time to learn your name! It is that personal attention that makes this place special and at a level above the rest.
