I want to spare you all the pain I have endured (and continue to endure) with this horrible, dishonest business. Please save yourself the time, money and aggravation right now and look for another moving company. I paid $5100 for a SAM move with delivery from Atlanta to NYC. My belongings left my house in a SAM unit with the lock I had provided. On delivery day, my belongings showed up in a large, unsecured moving truck - not my SAM unit. I asked the movers what happened to my locked SAM container. They said they didn't have the right tow truck available that day to deliver the container, so they had to cut the lock and repack my belongings into a large moving van. Several items of furniture were destroyed, damaged or scratched. The legs on my coffee table and end table were completely ripped apart. Boxes were smashed. Wardrobe boxes were so dented up that my clothes were crumpled to the bottom of the boxes. I paid for the SAM move because I was assured my items would not be tampered with and remain secure during the move. They broke my lock and moved my belongings into another van without my consent! I considered a lawsuit, but decided it wasn't worth the time or energy. Now, several months later - I receive a notice from their collection department stating that I owe them $2000. I have no idea how they came up with this figure. I paid the entire contractual amount of $5100 in full prior to the move. So looks like this painful saga with Suddath isn't over.

I got a SAM unit online for storing some things while my house was listed for sale. It started out fine. The unit was delivered on time, but they included "packing supplies" that they want to rent to you monthly for more than the supplies cost. I called to have these supplies picked up rather than pay the fee. The billing was setup to automatically charge my credit card. I noticed later that although I had the supplies returned, they they were still charging me. Long story short, they kept giving me the run around regarding crediting the fees. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere.

If you're considering a move with Suddath Relocation Systems of Atlanta, please be warned - I have recently had a horrible experience with this company. Suddath has refused to pay for what they damaged even though I had purchased the full value protection insurance. Please call me at (404) 376 - 3932, and I will gladly explain to you the situation and why you absolutely should not trust this company. They are not to be trusted! If you are even considering this company, please give me a call. I want to save someone else from making the same mistake.

We chose Suddath Relocation Systems, because they received positive reviews and because their HQ is in Jacksonville, Florida, where the furniture we wanted moved to Atlanta was located. Our experience with them, however, merits further discussion. They moved all our furniture and especially the antiques (high value items as they are called) with care, efficiency and professionalism. Suddath and United Van Lines kept us apprised every step and mile of the way and acted with skill and aplomb. For planning, coordinating and executing our move, we want to thank Danielle, Michelle, Adrian, Meniel, and Charles and crew! We recommend Suddath Relocation Systems to anyone making a move and again want to laud Suddath's competitive pricing and quality of work. Dianna and Bill Bahr

We used a sams container and two hired suddath movers and were very impressed with their packing abilities; they fit all of our large furniture, beds and appliances in one container! They also fit about 50 various sized boxes in there; amazing!! We will definitely recommend them to friends and family and use them ourselves again in the future.

I've used them twice in the last year, once to move my home and once to move my office. Both times they were great. They came highly recommended by a good friend and I saw why.

These guys cost a little bit more but it's worth it. Moved two years ago with local guys, two men and a truck kind of deal and didn't go well at all. No back up when the truck got full even though they said it would fit. Had to come back next day and finish. Almost doubled cost and no response to damage complaints. This time, on time, covered my floors and furniture, more $ an hour turned out to be $380.00 less total bill. I'll call them again next time.

The people in the office were just okay. Response time to questions was slow and grudging. The movers, however, was the absolute worst. They damaged hundreds of small items by poor packing. Many things that we treasured are now lost to us. Our complaint to the company was met with "thanks for letting us know -- we'll look into it." More than two months later, that is all the response we ever received. Would not recommend these movers under any circumstances.

Moving is always stressful but it's great when you work with a moving company that gets things right - or works hard to make things right when things go wrong. They did both for me and a rep named Linda was particularly wonderful.

The folks at Suddath could do nothing wrong from within the office. They met my compex set of needs with ease and grace and did their best to coordinate their efforts and ensured follow up. The folks who actually come to your home however obviously are not happy to be doing their job.

We used Suddath in a business setting a few times. They were much more responsive when hired by our corporate office rather then hired by our small company.
