Sugar Creek Animal Hospital LL

We switch back and forth between Sugar Creek and another nearby vet for our pets. My only complaint regarding Sugar Creek is that they pushed a surgery too quick before determining whether I was prepared to spend 2K or try alternative less expensive options first. It was hopefully a miscommunication between the assistants and the doctor, because otherwise I really like the practice.

When you need a miracle for your pet to survive, you want Dr. Ricky Van Matre working for you. Our cat was seriously ill with an undiagnosed malady. Dr. Ricky started his root cause analysis by running a series of tests, called in experts for additional assistance and kept us informed all the way. The end result was a cat that recovered and a family that was deeply grateful. You cannot go wrong with Sugar Creek Animal Hospital.

Dr Ricky and his staff is amazing! They saved my dog Spotty. My husband I had taken him to 3 different animal hospitals in the Duluth area and no one could find the cause of his cronic vomiting and diarrhea. We were reffered to Sugar Creek by my friend and at this point we were willing to try anything! After a few days on fluids, medication, and lots of updating phone calls from the terrific staff. Spotty was back to himself! We will never trust anyone other than Sugar Creek Animal Hospital!

I went to Sugar Creek Animal Hospital for a second opinion and will never go anywhere else again! Dr. Ricky took the time to go over my dogs case and got him on the correct medicine and he is now doing great! Best care out their for your four legged family member.

Very Clean. Wonderful Staff. They explain everything, which is great instead of being surprised by a large bill. It is also nice being able to get everything at one location (food, grooming, etc).
