Sugar Hill is not only a great vet hospital but also a great doggie day care and grooming! I have gone to other vets and the care is just not the same as with the staff at Sugar Hill. I had never used the grooming until recently when my fuzzy Aussie got mats in his fur. At this time they had 2 groomers and we choose Jun because of the way he approached my dogs and made friends with them first! My dogs, never been groomed before, were nervous and jumpy however Jun took his time to work with them and gave them several breaks between grooming so they could get used to it. Before long they were pros at getting groomed and actually loved to go! Jun is the only groomer we will use because he takes the time needed for your pet to not only look good but to feel good too!!! Thank you Jun!!!

I have always loved Sugar Hill Animal Hospital's vets, but recently a friend suggested we try their grooming services and WOW! I was apprehensive at first, I have heard that grooming at vets is not always the best, but my dog looks great, smells great, and was so happy when we picked her up! We will be back!

I had found a cat on the porch one day and took it to SHAH, they groomed the cat, searched for a chip in which there isn't one, gave him his shots...and found this lil kitty a home! WAY TO GO!!!!

I was rather unhappy with my previous vet and found Sugar Hill by way of their website. I took my dog there for shots and was so pleased with my visit. Dr Boyce was our doctor and she was so nice to me and my dog! She took the time to answer all of my questions and even gave me a tour of their clinic. My mutt is usually timid with strangers, but he loved Dr Boyce immediately. She even got down on the floor to look at him because he was too big for the table! I will definitely be returning with my other pets to see Dr Boyce for all their health needs :)

I have experienced several bad vets in the area - but Sugar Hill is not one of them! Finally, I have found the best vet for my two Boston terriers. This clinic is clean, efficient and fun to be in. Everyone is friendly, professional, and efficient. The docs there really know their stuff and go out of their way to do a great job. They finally cured my younger dogs skin problem and she is doing better then ever. Thank you, Sugar Hill Animal hospital! Keep up the incredible work you do!

I have been going to Sugar Hill Animal Hospital for several years and have always had the best experience each time! Dr. Thomas is by far the best vet I have ever had! He literally saved my dog's life recently! He always goes above and beyond to ensure that my dogs get the absolute best care. Dr. Thomas is also very patient with me, answering all of my questions (even when I call periodically). He exceeds all of my expectations and has always been right on with his diagnoses and treatments. My mother also raves about him to all her friends after he treated and managed her dog's congestive heart failure. The staff is also very inviting and knowledgeable! I have never been to a friendlier clinic than Sugar Hill Animal Hospital and would recommend Dr. Thomas and this clinic to everyone!!!

I just moved to the area and my older dog Marley needed a vet for a little rash she had going. I have been to many vets with Marley, including some that would be called the best in the US. I have always felt like something was not totally ok with Marley and have had test after test and they really could not find it. This time I was resigned that maybe they were right and it was just old age etc... I brought Marley in for the rash and did her standard 6 month blood work. When after 7 plus years of hearing nothing is wrong, you have no idea what it felt like when Dr. Stanley called and said after looking at her blood work and symptoms, I think something more is going on then just a rash. Someone actually listened and was looking with me ! 1 week later I have a diagnosis for Marley and a treatment plan we are both working on together ! Now that we found the disease he has just helped Marley improve the quality of her life. I say together because he actively listens to my concerns and is open and willing to do more research until we are both comfortable. Dr. Stanley is a fantastic vet open and willing to listen and spend time with you and your pet. I feel like after 10 years Marley is finally getting the time and care she deserves

I wanted to meet the new Dr. Stanley to give him a test run before my puppy needs to be fixed, so I went and saw him yesterday (which I believe was his first day) and he was great! He was very hands on and very caring towards Hershey. I will have no problem entrusting him to do whatever Hershey needs in the future. I read the reviews on here, and I would have to say that you pay for what you get, and I wouldn't want it any other way. Thanks Dr. Stanley!

This is truly the nicest vet hospital that I have ever been to. My former vet ( in a shopping center,) could not do the surgery that my Lab "Charlie" needed. They sent me to an animal surgery referral doctor who told me it would be $3000 to fix! One of my neighbors highly recommended the vets at Sugar Hill. I immediately felt welcome and confident in their hospital. Dr Seibert repaired my dog's knee for less than half the price and he has done great. This is the only vet that I trust and would send my friends and family there.

I have been lived over the US and this vet is one of the most expensive I have come across. The vets are great but the most of the support staff are rude at times and imcompetent. Be careful if your dog requires medications. The support staff send the wrong information to the pharmacist and my dog almost died. They had the nerve to charge me for the visit!!!! The wait time is also ridiculous. Do your homework don't be taken in by the way the place looks, you are paying for it!!!

I recently moved to Lawrenceville and switched vets. I just found this office and they found that my very expensive west Cobb vet did not do their job and my baby (12yr pom) had cancer. They removed and sent it to UGA. Also found her treatment options and she is doing wonderful. If I had not found them my baby would not be here with us today. So I highly recommend them. I knew all charges before she had treatment and they did not go up they went down at payment time. Never had that before.

WOW. I've been taking my cats to this vet for 6+ years. They have been the most compassionate, thorough people I know. Six years ago, they discovered a fatal illness in my cat early and he lived an additional 3 years! However, on a recent visit, it didn't feel personal anymore. It felt like a typical business (I hated/left Banfield Hospital (Petsmart) for it). Though I was told the fees up front, I was sticker shocked. I was also shocked at the negative reviews on this site. This isn't the Sugar Hill Animal Hospital I know. I will continue to take my pets there since I still trust them, but my red flag has been raised.

Every time I bring my cat to Sugar Hill I get a great reception as soon as I walk in the door. They know who you are and seem to be happy that you are there. I have been going here for 6 years and just want everyone to know that I trust them with my baby and know they will do right every time I come in!
