We have worked with David Smith on some complex family issues and have found him to be extremely helpful. His analysis and practical approach to addressing real life issues were spot on. He is direct and efficient yet maintains a sense of compassion and understanding that is a rare find.

Out of all the programs connected with Mount Pisgah this is by far the worst. Therapist are extremely unprofessional and lack the knowledge necessary to work in this field. They only have one licensed psychologist who received her degree from a for-profit university (connected with the University of Phoenix). David Smith is one of the most disgusting people I have meet and cares very little about the welfare of his patients. He embodies almost every thing wrong with corporate Christianity. I suppose it may work for someone looking for an artificial cover-up to their problems but no actual solution.

I have been to counselors many times over the years, but the counselors at the Summit are the first to not just listen and say "And how do you feel about that?"...they listen, ask questions, care about you and your situation, and guide you in practical and realistic ways to become proactive in dealing with your situation. I highly recommend the Summit, and not just for the difference they've made in my life, but also for the difference they've made in the lives of friends who have been helped there. Truly a God-send!!!

Very friendly and comforting environment. They were able to fit me into the counselors schedule even though they were very busy. I felt the counselor met my needs and had a clear understanding of what I was going through. The counselor was able to advise me in a respectful and caring manner. The women in the office who set up the schedules are very nice and accommodating. I was allowed to meet with the counselor who I felt the most comfortable with and who met my needs. I have a good experience thus far at SUmmit COunseling Center and would recommend my counselor to others.

The Summit Counseling Center has been and is definitely a blessing! My counselor truly cares about my well-being in all aspects and wants me to not only get back to being "myself," but to become even better. By better, I mean becoming the person that Christ wants me to be. Also, the office staff are helpful and friendly.
