The actual installers were absolutely amazing. However, we were very misled by the salesman on several things and the staff took months to resolve issues in our contract (misspellings that we're keeping Duke from activating). So we ended up paying several months towards our financing and 100% of our power bill (when the salesman said there would be one month overlap that SunTec would cover...) when I attempted to call the salesman for help/guidance, he wouldn't return any of my calls. So, while I'm glad we have solar now, it seems once they are paid, they don't want anything to do with you.

The Sun-Tec people from the salesman (Marc Sharp) to the installation crew (Brett and Associates) have been one of the most professional companies I have ever worked with. Their attention to detail and understanding of their product and it's application, and the understanding of all of the local codes and specs is unparalleled in the industry.

We had a solar hot water heater installed four years ago and are happy with the results. The salesperson that came to the house to explain how the solar panels work was very personable and articulate. I was pleased with the employees and subcontractors.

Sun-Tec Solar Energy did everything that they said they would, when they said they would and the results have met my expectations. I recommend Sun-Tec to anyone interested in saving money, or improving the environment.

Everyone was very nice and professional. They worked very well as a team, and the installation crew was very productive and efficient. The crew did great team work and did a great job installing the panels.

I feel like with this kind of job they should be able to follow through on what they say. They need to follow through on the operational part but my bill is coming down. They need to get this part together.

We've definitely noticed that our electric bill has gone down. The fan goes on when the attic reaches 70 degrees or higher and we have noticed that the air condition doesn't run as much and the bill was lower.

Workmanship and installation was terrific. Workers were courteous and a pleasure to work with. The transition to using the panels, on the other hand, was a disaster. Took months, numerous phone calls and ended up beginning payments on the various loans 3 months before I had access to the solar power. Not a happy camper over that part.

The salesman from Sun-Tec is stating that if your electric bill is $130 or higher per month - you can have their solar system (Solar Water Heater) as a Nothing Down Deal - with savings that will completely pay for your solar hot water system / loans or more! My electric bill varied from about $135 to $95 per month for an approx. average of about $115 - $120 per month - he assured me that the solar energy savings would at least cover the loans which came to $60+ dollars per month - Unfortunately my savings have averaged about $20-$25 dollars per month - At that rate my electric bill would have had to have be about $275-$350 per month to break even! WOW! They have fooled with my Sun-Tec Solar Energy system several times with no noticeable gains.I have waited about 8 months for the to Fix my system so they can get the claimed benefits. Sun-Tec gave up trying about 3 weeks ago and said they would do some "Blown-in Insulation" to try to help a bit - but my house is only 8 years old and very energy efficient - the insulation would probably equal about $0-$3 more in savings per month. UPDATE: They reneged on this! Been calling / emailing the Sun-Tec CEO for a month straight - virtually daily with NO response from - the Mysterious Owner / CEO who is too important to ever contact a customer. I am VERY concerned that they are making these same claims to 100's of people in my town - and that they are going through the same Hell - and being ignored! Beware!!!
