We came home at 10:30PM to find water dripping from our kitchen ceiling. Checked our "Verified Home Services" book and called Sundial Plumbing. Scott came out and corrected the issue in short order. Charge was very reasonable for a late night call. I would recommend Scott and Sundial to anyone with a plumbing issue.

I contacted Sundial with a couple of jobs I needed done. One of the jobs was time critical. When I was provided the estimates for the jobs I felt they were obscured. One of the tasks I got a quote on, the service man admitted would take him about an hour and he said it would cost $800. I felt trapped to have the time sensitive issue resolved. I agreed to this project as a must have and wanted nothing more. The work was sloppy for 30 minutes of work and $275 cost. He left corroded pipes. He tried to up sell me several times. I will never use them again. I'm blown away at the rates I was quoted.

I hired Sundial to clean out the sewer line to the street from my home as I had a backup in my basement. They came out charged a big fee and said that they had checked the line all the way to the street. I thought the problem was solved so I had new carpet installed that was ruined by the backup. That turned out to be a mistake as within 90 days I have had another backup. Turns out the line was not cleaned nor checked more than about 60 feet from my house. The system backed up again and Sundial WILL NOT guarantee their work. Do yourself a favor and do not use this company. My new carpet is ruined because Sundial only did a partial job. Also they will not charge you by the hour but will will quote you a price after they determine your problem.

We've contacted Sundial Plumbing since we saw them in TrustDale.com website. When they got to the house, we were impressed with their equipment (truck, employee uniform, tools, etc...) but when the guy opened up his mouth, everything went "down the drain", literally! We needed to replace our water heater tank since it was leaking and it was 10 years old. Just like the "rrunner" said on his review, they will overcharge BIG TIME! They estimated us for replacing the water heater tank (with the same unit), adding a thermal expansion tank and new pressure regulator valve a grand total of $1,855.93. My wife and I almost went into CARDIAC ARREST!!!! Thank God we didn't hire these people and continue researching, we were able to get the same job done with the same Water Heater Brand (Rheed) and installation for only $795.00! Huge Difference ($1,060.93 difference to be exact)!

Sundial Plumbing trucks are equipped with specialty electronic tools such as cameras, sewer machines, gas leak detectors, and manometers. There are also protective items (for your home) and safety items (to prevent injury to technicians on your property) as well. Sundial provides upfront pricing before any work is done so that you are afforded complete choice and respect for your money. It is to your advantage to have a state licensed plumber (backgrounded check, screened, insured, and bonded) carefully evaluate your plumbing system and uncover any problems. The tools, equipment and credentials are cost efficient and we believe they offer great long term value for the consumer. All of the itmes described are costly, we agree. As a matter of fact, EVERYTHING seems expensive. When compared to similiar competitors, our pricing always fairs favorably. Although our services are not for everyone, we have documented 47,000 satisfied clients throughout the last twelve years. Thank you for your feedback and we hope you will consider us in the future to demostrate our high standard of service.

This is an unusual review in that no work was actually done! Having received a higher than usual water bill, I monitored my meter and noticed water being "used" even when nothing in the house was using water. Because there were no leaks within the house, I assumed it was a leak between the meter and my house. Sundial came out in short order -- on a Saturday -- and quickly diagnosed the problem as an outside faucet (the one that is NOT controlled by the house shut-off valve) not being fully closed. Once the faucet was tightly shut off, the meter came to a halt and the problem was resolved. The charge for this: ZERO! I will definitely call Sundial the next time I need a plumber.

Charged an arm and a leg to install a kitchen faucet that I provided. Then the technician left without ensuring that the faucet was working correctly. Original technician blamed it on the brand new faucet, when in reality it wasn't the faucet at all. It was a bad install job. Had to call and complain just to have them send a senior technician to install it the way it should have been on their first visit.

At Sundial Plumbing Services, great effort is taken to solicit feedback. All feedback is documented. Critical feedback is given top priority in several ways. First, we have a 1 hour resolution board that alerts all Sundial Employees to be aware of any problems and collectively work on a resolution with a target of a 1 hour time frame for the resolution. Secondly, in the dispatch priority, warranty, go-backs, and call-backs are given preference over new work. We apologize for not providing service that met your expectations. You may be sure that we value your business and always work hard to provide you with great service at all times.
Look at all the other reviews first!!! There are many unhappy customers who have been overcharged for merely average service. Don't get caught as well .... find another plumber, one who doesn't rip you off!

I am a new homeowner and had my water heater go out last night and didn't want to go through the night without any hot water. I called Sundial and a technician came out, replaced my water heater, and did it with a very positive attitude! I was blown away by the technicians' professionalism, knowledge, and personable demeanor. Thanks Sundial!

DO NOT HIRE SUNDIAL! They will overcharge you for mediocre service. Look at all the negative reviews on Yelp and Kudzu before you make the same mistake I did. Owner does NOT care about customer service.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a plumbing company. Please stay far away from them and know that you are paying way too much for service that isn't even that great. And FYI, TrustDale.com no longer advertises with Sundial plumbing. Due to my complaints and many others, TrustDale stopped recommending Sundial!!! That should tell you everything you need to know. DO NOT HIRE THEM

After having a bad experience dealing with an unlicensed plumbing contractor named Alan Ridgeway at Ridgeway Mechanical, I decided to choose Sundial Plumbing for replacing my water heater. I called in the morning and had a technician onsite by noon. The technician arrived on time and installed a new 40 gallon gas water heater. The price was 25 percent higher than the quote I received from Alan Ridgeway but I felt better that a licensed plumber was doing the work. Service was same day and the work looked good. I called the office later and thanked the manager for the prompt service and told her about my research and experience with her competitor.

This was my second experience with Sundial. I have worked with Plumbers Danny White and Shane Walker - they both were very courteous and professional; they both provided outstanding customer service. They were genuinely friendly folks. I would also like to mention that Tanya (the one who took my call) was extremely attentive to my needs and was great at reassuring me and calling back to follow up. She genuinely cared about my situation, looking up numbers for me for county water services, when she really didn't have to. In order to make this experience 5 stars in value, I would suggest they explain how they come up with their pricing, to let the customer know that this is not a random number pulled out of the air ... I tend to think something is being hidden from me when the pricing is not explained. Other than that, they are a top notch company and I would recommend to friends and family.

I had them come out today. They were here within 30 minutes. Very nice guy showed up and gave me a quote. He quoted me $368.00 for the repair that I had another plumber do for $118.00.

There are many intangibles that are included in our pricing that may not be apparent such as: We are available for 24 hour emergency service-365 days per year, we send technicians to your home or business that are trained, licensed, uniformed, clean-shaven, insured, bonded, background checked and drug screened. Additionally, our main hiring criterion is they are nice and ethical people.
Our technician will arrive in a truck that is well stocked with several thousand items, neat, clearly identified and equipped with proper tools.
Our company has supported our community for over 40 years since we have been in business. We have over 40 people with skills and equipment to respond to small jobs or large jobs such as: backhoe work; trenchers; jackhammers; trenchless water line technology; scaffolding; sewer cleaning; electronic line tracing; boring; welding; video pipe inspection; water and sewer main repairs; small, medium or large water/sewer leaks; electronic gas leak detection. We also install plumbing in many new homes, offices and restaurants. Additionally, our 8,000 square foot warehouse facility stocks thousands of supplies so we can respond quickly to customers' needs without relying on outside suppliers - which are often closed.
I give you this background to illustrate how much we care about solving plumbing problems. We believe many things must be considered when you choose a company to do plumbing repairs. When you discuss price, you must also consider value.
