Mediocre food at best. Long wait, bad service
I had heard about this place from a friend and thought it sounded good. Boy was I disappointed! First off is the building. Its run down and the restrooms are terrible, at least the mens room was. There are flies buzzing around the room. Its kind of an awkward eating experience with the way its set up. When we ordered the food took a really long time, around 30 minutes. I'm not sure why but it was by far the longest wait I have ever experienced. I was ready to walk out by the time our food arrived. For me breakfast seems like one of those things that can be difficult to screw up. This one was badly done. I ordered the french toast breakfast with my eggs scrambled. My eggs came non-scrambled and beyond runny. They are bordering on raw. Even the whites were uncooked in places. My wife, who prefers runny eggs, would not touch them. I didn't complain for fear of waiting another 30 minutes to get new eggs. My french toast was uncooked in the center. The potatoes were cold. The bacon was really really hard. I have never had bacon this hard. It wasn't overcooked, just really tough. My orange juice was empty by the time our food arrived but it never got refilled. The waitress never even noticed. I was baffled. I had never experienced such a bad breakfast and I am really easy to please. I won't be returning to the Sunflour.
