The building they are in is an old VONS that was built probably back in the 70's. It looks crappy from the outside, but don't let that exterior fool you. Once you walk inside, you'll be amazed by how clean it is. The produce is fresh, looks and tastes great.

Since I read the reviews to the market, I decided to drive by while running my other errands. The place is pretty clean.I like the atmosphere of it. It reminds me of Trader Joes, but bigger. There is a good selection of cheeses, wines, organic fruits and vegetables. The customer service is great at the fish and seafood section. I might come here next month, if I ever need fresh fish again.

This store is now my new place to shop. For years I have been shopping at the other health food stores in town. On my second visit to Sunflower Market I had cut my weekly grocery bill in half!!! I paid $66 for a cart full of groceries and natural detergents that I would have paid at least $150 for at wild oat. The selection here is better - they have every brand of cosmetics and personal care products and the quality is better in the produce and meats. They have a huge selection of loose herbs!! You can live well and eat well and take good care of your family without having to spend a fortune and shop at the mainstream commercial conglomerations. Please try the Sunflower Market - you will love it!

If you are looking for a wide selection of organic foods, this is a great place to shop. It isn't as big as other chain stores, but they do have a lot of hard to find organic brands and the service is great.
