I left several items with this dry cleaner. One of which was one of my best dresses. When I picked them up, the dress was ruined. The label specifically said "dry clean only, 30 seconds only, 120 degrees". It had many mother of pearl buttoms around the waist and sleeves. Most of them were missing and the top of the dress was very stained-I did not drop it off in that condition. The owner of the cleaners brought it out to me and tried to claim the dress was defective and that I could return it to the store where I bought it. I explained to him that I bought the dress a while back-too long ago to return it. Besides, the dress had been dry cleaned several times before with no ill effects. I expressed my disatisfaction with this situation. I explained to him that this was an expensive dress (almost $200) but he never made any attempt to cover the cost of the dress or even to discount the remainder of my dry cleaning (the total bill was $54.60 for 10 pieces of clothing). He was gracious enough not to charge me for the dress he ruined! I have told my friends about this sitation and advised them not to use this dry cleaner-you shouldn't, either!
