I am extremely surprised and disappointed by the way the owner of Suntown Cleaners Norterra handled my situation. I brought my comforter to be cleaned. When I went to pick up my comforter, the young girl who worked there said "Oh yours is the comforter..." Then proceeded to tell me that my comforter was STOLEN ????? When the owner called me he was rude and defensive. After a few calls back and forth his final statement was "I will give you no more than $50 for your comforter- see you in court". I am filing in small claims court and reporting to the BBB. I will NEVER patronize Suntown Cleaners again.

I've used Suntown Cleaners for close to a year and over the past four months, I've noticed a sharp decline in quality and customer service. It first started in January when the cleaners raised their prices without any prior notification to their customers. Then, I noticed that several of my silk/cotton sweaters became really stretched out (to a square shape) and when I politely expressed concerns, the owner was unfriendly and unapproachable as he admitted he was the one who performed all the dry cleaning. While eventually my sweaters regained most of their fit and shape, the owner then proceeded to loose one my belts to a dress shirt and broke the loop holes on another, without saying anything to me. I notified the owner that I was missing the belt only to be told he would "look for it" and let me know. He never called me and when I followed up a week later, he said he couldn't find it, with no explanation or offer for reimbursement/credit. While the owner's wife and staff are friendly, the lack of customer service from the owner will keep me away forever. It's just pathetic and people like that shouldn't run businesses...especially considering I spent at least $100 a month with them.

I have frequented Suntown Cleaners since they opened a few months ago and I am extremely happy and impressed with their services. Their work is top notch and they have been able to get stains out that other cleaners have previously told me were impossible to remove! Also, their prices cant be beat for the quality! I have definitely found my new cleaners!

They cleaned a very expensive pair of suit dress pants for me and they burnt the fabric with an iron. When I went to confront them about it, they were very defensive and refused to even listen to me. They said there is no way they damaged the pants that it must have happened at home. I dont even own an iron. They have terrible customer service and damage clothing and do not stand behind it. i do not recommend them at all! I filed a claim with the BBB.

As a regular customer here, I was dismayed when I discovered last month that a pair of relatively new suitpants had been badly damaged while under the care of Suntown Cleaners (at the Shops at Norterra). Specifically, the pant hook on the inside seam of my new suitpants had been COMPLETELY RIPPED OUT during the drycleaning process with this vendor. I'd previously had no real problems with them. However, when I discussed this situation with the staff, they all but accused me of lying, claiming that there was "absolutely no way" they were responsible for the damage. This despite the fact that their drycleaning tag was still on the pants and they would have noted the damage to the clothing if they had received it in that condition from me. So after failing to have a rational conversation with them--again, they claimed "they could do no wrong"--I left their premises. Upon taking the pants to a alteration professional, I was charged $22 to have the pants repaired. So, until they agree to take responsibility for their mistakes, I will never, ever, use Suntown Cleaners again. So, the morale here is to very carefully inspect your clothes before and after if you decide to risk it with Suntown Cleaners. Check them out on the BBB too.
