I think Glenn's Superior Car Shine was good at one time, but Glenn is no longer the owner (the sign you see on the web page is GONE now). Even so, the current owner has kept the old web site in an effort to make people think that Glenn is still the owner. I relied on positive online reviews and took my car to this place, and it was a $250 ripoff! I can't believe I paid so much money for half-_ss work. Why? Exterior: The detailer didn't clean my wheels thoroughly, much less wax them. I was shocked to see dirt and road grime on my wheels when I picked the car up. Further, the car was not professionally buffed. The paint still has trash in it that I will have to buff out myself. Seriously? Engine: Again, mediocre cleaning job. The detailer sprayed a ton of silicone on everything, but there was still grime on parts of the motor. Not good. A mess. Interior: Okay job on the interior, but the leather seats were NOT conditioned as they were supposed to be. There were still dirt spots in several areas which tells me that the detailer did little to nothing to the leather seats. I guess he wiped everything off with a damp cloth and shampooed the carpets. Overall, I would have been happy paying $75-100 for what I got - not $250. Avoid this place at all costs. I won't rely on any online reviews again.

At the time Banker picked up his car he did not voice any complaints regarding the detail of his vehicle nor did he pose any questions regarding the ownership of the shop. Our first notice of his displeasure was his posting on this forum. Our details take 7 ½ hours to accomplish and are very thorough. Banker and Roger Sullivan (the owner for 10 years) inspected the car and discussed the condition of the paint on the vehicle (black) relating to a number of scratches and pitted areas in the clear coat that were to deep to completely remove. The inspection was performed in our brightly lighted shop with our supplementary side light fluorescents on over a period of 10 minutes. The vehicle had been clayed and buffed 4 times by the detailing technician (13 years experience) and Roger (49 years of experience) to remove a large number of scratches and paint flaws.
The interior was cleaned and shampooed. The seats were first cleaned with Lexol leather cleaner and then two coats of Lexol leather treatment were rubbed into the seats. The leather was extremely dry and absorbed the leather conditioner quickly. The seats were than rubbed with a clean cotton towel to remove any residual treatment. We treat vehicles leather in the manner prescribed by the leather treatment product and the cars manufacturer. We do not use any silicone products in our shop. If Banker's expectation was shiny leather that was not communicated and we would have declined to provide that finish. The vast majority of our customers want a treatment that leaves the leather in original manufactures condition.
The wheels were thoroughly cleaned and a polymer sealant was applied to them. Banker picked the vehicle in the rain and drove the vehicle to his home in Atlanta prior to making his observations!
Roger Sullivan has owned the business for 10 years. Our sign has been removed as we are currently preparing to move into a new location. Our web site does require updating which will be done as soon as our remodeling in our new shop is completed.
We have been in business since 1988 and average 400 details a year in 10 years that is 4,000 details. Our repeat customer rate is 99.1 % this is the first complaint we have received in that time. You be the judge!
There's a reason why you see Porsches, Ferraris, and other exotics stored at Superior Car Shine - there is simply no comparison between taking your car to Superior for detailing versus taking it to the corner car wash. Better trained employees, better quality materials and more time spent on your car equals better results. They spent 8 hours working on my car (fortunately they do not charge by the hour!) and it looked amazing when it was done. I'd much rather spend $260 at Superior and get the job done right than spend $150 for a so-so job at another place.

Holy Cow! is all I can say after getting my car back. These guys do unreal work. My audi has never had a shine on it like it does now. If you are serious about your car this is where you need to go! I sold my Mercedes after they detailed to the first person who looked at it. He said it was by far the nicest looking of all the cars he looked at...And I got 2k more than what others were asking!
