Saw the dr with several serious issues. She spent a long time talking to me. But didn't solve anything. She told me the test results don't need to be looked at any further. I didn't feel right... so saw a specialist. The specialist sent me in for lots of tests & a biopsy. Now the problem needs to be monitored & i was put on medication to treat. She also disregard other issues i brought up. The front desk person didn't follow up on getting records and follow up with return calls. I was not impressed. The office is outdated. I put that aside when I first came in since it's not in the greatest neighborhood. But thought she'd be great from all of the reviews. But it was a waste of time. She makes you feel important by talking to you for along time. But be careful if you have a serious issue. See a specialist.

I have gone to Dr. Margletta for at least ten years for an annual check up, colds, and one time she drained a ganglian (sp?) cyst on my wrist. And it healed quickly. She also treats me for high cholesterol. She is great and has been president of the Georgia state chapter of Family Physicians. I recommend her for all ages. I've seen her compassionate with very elderly people and babies.

The best doctor bar none of any I have known in all of my 60 years. I have had the pleasure of being her patient for well over 10 years and she has saved my bacon more than once. She is very compassionate and seems to have all the time in the world for you. And she really listens and gives the best advice even if you don't want to hear it at the time. She has called me herself to check on me well into the evening (I know her practice must be closed) more than once. I can hardly wait to see that big smile even if that's now only every 6 months or so. She once asked me how I would feel if she were to employ a nurse practitioner. When I told her I wouldn't and only wanted to see her even if I had to wait, she told me that was why she wasn't going that route (putting profit ahead of patients). Just where do you hear that today? She has to be overworked but she always has time for me. I swear my file that she drags in with her is thicker than the Atlanta phone book(s) and she consults it every time to keep up with my various ailments. I love her like a family member and hope she continues her practice for many, many more years. Most people probably don't know this about her but she is the President of the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, and very active politically looking out for her patients from that position. As I said before THE BEST!!! ~Don Wilson

Dr. Margletta is wonderful. When I had a frightening health experience, she calmed me down and set up immediate tests. That night past 7pm, she called me at home to tell me everything was okay. She's a very caring doctor whom I would highly recommend.

I was in her office for severe hip pain and swelling, unable to even walk up straight. She sent me for xrays, and reviewed them with me when the results came back. The radiologist had noted an anaomolous mass on the xray right where my pain was. Dr Margletta brushed it off as a "glitch" in the xray, wrote it off in my chart, and sent me to a physical therapist for a strained hip muscle. I later ended up in the hospital with a massive abcess (infection) right where the mass in the xray had been, which required a week-long stay in the hospital and surgery to drain it. I'm afraid to think what may have happened if it hadn't been finally caught after Dr Margletta completely ignored it.

Dr. Margletta is the most competent, professional, up-to-date and wonderful physician... EVER. She listens carefully, is genuinely interested, caring and reassuring. My wife and I have been fortunate to have her for our family physician for 10 years and she has guided us through some tough times. We love her!!
