I would not say the service is fantastic and I would say the value is average, so this is definitely a place just for Decatur locals (no reason to drive there from a great distance solely for the sushi). The sushi quality is good. I've been twice lately and was impressed with the quality both times.

Consistently high quality sushi and friendly service for years now. Two locations in Decatur, and I prefer the original one (the one not directly on the square). Non-sushi/sashimi eaters will also be happy, as there are combo dinners and a nice (if small) assortment of traditional small dishes and noodle and rice bowls. Service not usually altogether anglophone, but very nice and usually very efficient.

It is hard to get everything right but that is exactly what Sushi Avenue did. This place is very nice, has delicious sushi, and most importantly, not overpriced! If you have never tried sushi, this would be a great experience. Everything is fresh.

Located on Decatur Square, this little sushi place offers great lunch specials. Everything I ordered was delicious and artfully prepared. The service was quick and very courteous. Prices were very reasonable and the menu had a nice variety of options. The restaurant is small but seating choices include the sushi bar or tables.

This is my absolute favorite sushi place in Decatur. I go here at least once a month or more often if I can. The sushi is great and the service is fantastic. Love the variations on Unagi and the Sake selection.

This is a cute sushi place to go when you don't feel like forking over major cash to eat at MF Sushi in Midtown. I especially like their lunch sushi special -- soup, salad, California rolls, tuna rolls and sushi for around $7. Only once has the tuna been less than what I'd hoped for.

This is the place to go when you're having a sushi craving meltdown! The menu is vast and the staff is extremely friendly. We love to pop in for a bowl of miso then end up gorging ourselves because everything looks and tastes so good. You cannot go wrong coming here.

The sushi here is excellent. My only complaint is that they often (as in at least 60% of the time) screw up my take out orders - usually replacing the roll I ordered with a totally different roll. This happens even when they repeat my order back to me perfectly. Who knows why. Regardless, I still love Sushi Ave.

This is a great little place. It has delicous food and good service. It is always fresh and is pretty fast. But you also have the option of sitting and hanging out with friends for hours. Whenever we are in the mood for sushi we go to Sushi Avenue b/c they have great food and GREAT prices.
