This place has been a favorite of my husband and me for quite a while. The sushi is delicious and fresh. The rolls are creative, innovative, and tasty. They are a bit expensive (but comparable to other good sushi places) and their service is generally good. My husband is Japanese and is quite picky about his sushi, but this place is by far his favorite place to go! It's definitely a must try!

My hubby and I went to Sushi Nami on a Friday night around 6:30pm and while it was busy it wasn't overly crowded. There were spots at the sushi bar open and tables available as well. Since this was our first time in a real sushi restaurant we decided to sit at the sushi bar. We totally made the right choice. It was so much fun to watch the chefs make everything from individual rolls to huge platters of nigiri and sashimi. We shared 3 different rolls. The 3 of a Kind was amazing and very reasonably priced. The Psychedelic, a roll made without rice that was also pretty reasonable and had great contrast between the melt in your mouth tuna on the inside and the crunchy cucumber on the outside. And lastly as a kind of treat we had the Bullit, which is stuffed with tuna and cream cheese and then battered, dipped in coconut and deep fried, it was a little pricey in my opinion but it was delicious and the enjoyment I found in eating it was well worth the price. It took a little while for the hostess to seat us as they seemed to be a bit confused by a party of 6 who did not make a reservation, and our waitress didn't wander by enough for us to catch her when we needed her, but a chef gave us a little sample of real wasabi paste as we expressed that we'd never tried it. We will definitely be going back to Sushi Nami!

I moved to Atlanta from the Northeast a few years ago, and was always disappointed with the Japanese offerings here...until I found Nami! This place rivals anything else in Atlanta IMO. The service is excellent, the prices are reasonable and the fish is extremely fresh. I've never had a bad meal here. A+

I think this place is better than any other sushi restaurants in Atlanta - and yes, I have tried them all!!!! Must sit at the sushi bar and watch the guys rolling up the sushi - very entertaining.

I work off of Windward and we eat at Sushi Nami all the time. It is one of my favorite places and the food is always excellent. The sushi is great and if you're not into that, the beef teriyaki is great too. The people that work there are great too!

The food here is average, at best. The service is also average. Language barrier makes for difficulty ordering. Very pricy for what you get. The decor is not chic..just bare! I will never go back again.
