A music store, but different. Swift Music is a new type of music store - it's more like a testing lab for you to try stuff out.
With seven project studios, two garage band style jam rooms, a 24-input professional recording studio, and even a live performance venue; you can finally try out gear in an environment similar to what you'd use it in. If you like something, we'll have a new one in a box for you to take home with you that day!
Private lessons are available for drums,.. guitar, voice, keyboard, bass, ukelele, mandolin, and banjo.
Schedule lessons once per week, or as often as your schedule permits. No long term contracts, and a simple 24-hour cancellation policy. Learning to play music has never been easier.
24 hr cancelation policy doesnt take weather emergencies into account. They dont reschedule lessons.

We always reschedule lessons if 24-hour notice is given or we deem the weather severe enough to close for the day.
My teacher was Jennifer, and she was very helpful in her comments and suggestions for my clarinet playing. I was discouraged and ready to quit playing before trying this school, and now I have a renewed interest. I always left my lesson with a good feeling.
I've been in music for 35 years, playing and singing mostly 'by ear'. My wife bought me a lesson package just for fun, and from the very first day Dave was able to help me to start to see and hear the music I play in a fresh, new way. Dave can use a song I've heard and played a hundred times to illustrate a fundamental musical concept, and I found myself thinking 'So THAT"S what that's called,' or 'NOW I see how that works!' All this in a clean, professional environment that's also relaxed, collegial and very conducive to the task at hand--learning about music. Add in the friendly, courteous staff, the flexible scheduling options and the competitive pricing, and you have one heck of a good value in music instruction. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Swift School of Music for your kids... AND their parents!
We tried the lessons for my son "just to see". My son is so excited about his lessons and is learning a lot in a relatively short amouth of time. We are definately planning to continue!
As an adult student, I was pretty nervous about taking up the piano. However the whole experience at Swift has been great. My instructor has been very encouraging ( even when I don't practice between lessons)and has helped me get off an running learning to play the type of music I want to learn, so I am not just playing "beginner music". It has been really fun!
The swift school of music is great for any level musician.I started taking lessons with Dave Swift for guitar and have committed to about 2-3 years with learning from him at The Swift School of Music as well as another previous location. Everything is done very well and to say professional at the least. Anyone learning a new instrument or just wanting to expand what they already know should check it out!

I have tried to learn many different instruments, including guitar, but never stuck with them until I got to Swift. They started me learning the songs I wanted to learn, and I have quickly progressed to more diffult songs. All the teachers are nice and knowledgable and there are regular classes to learn how to do other music related things like recording too! Thumbs up here!

I started with Dave Swift when he was an instructor with another firm and went with him when he started his own school. I can't think of anyone else who would make a better teacher for those willing to learn guitar and a fun and encouraging atmosphere. I learned so much from Dave and, although I had to temporarily suspend lessons for the time being, I can't wait to get back again.

I've been playing guitar for about six years now, and during the past year at Swift School of Music, I've learned more than I have the other five years combined. Dave Swift, along with all the other instructors I've met are easy to talk to and all around great people. The school has a great atmosphere to it, and I am always excited to go back every week. I highly recommend anyone interested in music, whether you know your way around you instrument, or just starting to play.

The 24 hour cancellation policy is great. I can cancel my lesson and reschedule right on their website as long as its more than 24 hours before my lesson starts. When I cancel within 24 hours I understand being charged. Inconveniences in my life shouldn't cause my teacher to not get paid, that's just not fair.
