The reviews below must be lies!!
I can't quite believe I'm reviewing a cell phone retailer, but here I am! I am so sorry for mjohnson1681's experience - because mine (multiple ones, actually, as you will "see") is the exact opposite! Read on for what experience/what-have-you I can share . . .
For me, having to actually GO to a cell store is torture. Um, that's what the internet's for. Don't even get me started on the stories I could tell you about the Sprint store in Around Lenox, or one particular experience at an AT&T (or . . . whatever they're called now) post.
So when I left my job in May and turned in my company-owned and maintained Treo, I was left with just my Blackberry Pearl. I've been a T-mobile customer for about four years now, but it'd always been for my second, extra, not-necessary phone! All of a sudden . . . I had to figure out what phone, and plan, and well, everything I needed! And I didn't have my Treo for internet or GPS or - anything!
So. I went to the T-Mobile store to see what I could do. I couldn't upgrade my phone/get a discount completely, but I had great and quick service and an un-painful experience on switching to a) a Blackberry Curve and b) a different plan. I asked nicely, and I got a little "break" on the necessary charges. The guy who helped me, was really patient and attentive and informative about my options! Great Service!!
