Locally and familiy owned, Timothy E. Quigley, owner and founder of TQ Diamonds, unknowingly began his career with a simple childlike fascination with rocks and minerals. He began gathering and collecting gemstones at the age of nine. His intense fascination with gemstones catapulted him towards his dream career. Tim entered the jewelry industry as a salesperson for a local jeweler in 1985. Two short years later, he opened the doors of TQ Diamonds.

Tim's business philosophy is based on outstanding service and the finest quality products. As an independent jeweler, Tim feels he can offer his clients much more than other jewelry store chains. Therefore, he hand selects every diamond and precious gem he sells. In addition, Tim developed a keen eye and deep appreciation for custom designed jewelry. He knows his clients are looking for unique pieces of jewelry that express their thoughts and ideas.

Tim has brought custom design to a new level with TQ Diamonds. TQ Diamond's creative team consists of 3 designers/goldsmiths and 6 professional sales associates. Timothy and Kimberly Quigley are holders of the Certified Gemologist Appraiser (CGA) title from the American Gem Society (AGS). The AGS is the only organization in North America that certifies applicants as "Appraisers" after having successfully passed in-depth appraisal exams. Yearly re-testing is required to maintain these credentials. No other certification in the jewelry industry has this type of requirement.

The CGA title is the highest level of achievement in the jewelry industry. Currently in North America and Canada only about 425 individuals have earned this prestigious title.

In addition, sales professional and appraiser, Kristyn Blazich holds the American Gem Society title of Certified Gemologist. A Certified Gemologist has undergone gemological training and certification from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) as well as the AGS (American Gem Society) they are specially trained in diamond grading, gem identification, synthetic gemstones, gemstone enhancements, and gem and jewelry care.
