I inquired about having my lawn treated by TruGreen. I was going out of town so called and put all treatments on hold until further contact. When I returned, to my dismay, TruGreen disobeyed by wishes and treated my lawn anyway. I was told that any treatments had to be cleared through the authentication department. I never authorized anyone in the authentication department to treat my lawn. They slammed the treatment on me and now expect me to pay for it. Due to this experience, I would not recommend the company to anyone.

Having a new home, I signed up with TruGreen to help maintain my lawn. It has been one year and I should see the benefits of the efforts this season. The only thing I don't care for with this vendor is you never know when they're coming and often times you hae to call them back to ask if they covered certain areas. Too many overlapping invoices too.

There is nothing redeeming about this company and I have a littany of complaints: - Repeatedly skipped services, bills for services not rendered, services occuring weeks apart as opposed to months; bills for "complimentary" services - They never called ahead (despite the fact I signed up for their call-ahead service as I have a dog) - I don't believe they ever set foot in my backyard. May have been related to the fact that they had a wrong phone number for me - I pointed it out on numerous occasions, but it took months for them to correct it in their system. - I got a call from a rep to confirm a $500 core aeration that I did not schedule. (I'm glad they called to confirm! By the way, does $500 seem like a lot for a 1/3 acre lot?) - Phone representatives were exceedingly rude; Letters to company headquarters went ignored - And believe it or not, my lawn never improved.
