Taco Stand

Love this place! Nice neighborhood feel, very kid friendly - they were thinking of giving parents a break when they developed their plan. But they also a good mix of patrons.

The service was a little on the slow side due to the incredible business they were enjoying. I bet they get that straightened out pretty quickly.

Try the mini-burritos, they're fantastic! At about 3 bucks apiece, you can eat until you pop and still save money. The queso dip is pretty tasty too!!

The Taco Stand has been a favorite of my family's for many years. I used to enjoy the Taco Stand in Athens, but now that we live in Atlanta we take the kids and enjoy some of the freshest mexican food in town. The Taco Stand is still a great happy hour spot, too.

A regular beef taco uses a sauce that is far too close to bad ketchup and school lunchroom beef. The cheese quesadilla is a tortilla, cheese, and a side of more of the bad ketchup sauce. The $3+ specialty tacos aren't bad, but I can't find a single reason to eat here instead of Tin Lizzy's, Taqueria Del Sol (same price point, same fancy tacos, same parking problems, much better food), or even somewhere like El Azteca (cheaper, better food, but no fancy tacos).

Seems to be much better for drinking that eating. Avoid it for lunch, and have a fish taco and drinks if you're playing trivia.
